Sweet Seeds Boomer's First grow..Sweet Trainwreck, Devil Cream

@Boomer2269 hi mate stumbled across this and thought I'd comment as I have two Trainwrecks on the go atm with one about the same age and one just over a week from harvest. The twisting leaves thing around the time they go into flower I've always put down to CalMag but noticed you are already feeding that so perhaps up the dose a notch? They do seem small for their age to me and I wonder if the bugs may well be the cause of this, get a magnifying glass and have a close inspection of the leaves and also the soil to check for larvae is what I'd try.

All the best mate and I hope they turn out well for you :pass:

Thanks frags, I've had a post going in the sick plants forums and it's not bugs it's actually looking like I've been under watering them from the start and never need feeding to enuff run off so I've got a salt buildup in the soil causing a lockout on some of my nutes, so today will be watering with Ph'd 6.5 water till 30% runoff to clear the soil and then slowly feed in nutes, it's definitely stunted the plants and I'm.not expecting much from the yield, just having fun plunking away at my new hobby

@Boomer2269 ahhh OK mate sounds like a good prognosis, think you will still pull some decent smoke off them despite being smaller than usual. I've grown a couple of Trainwrecks before and its a great smoke with lovely flavour and strong effect that is good medically too...hence I'm growing a couple more:yay:
Live and learn is the thing with growing, every day is a school day ;)

ATB dude

Update for today, with my devil cream shoeing major issues and the sweet trainwreck just starting to have issues, as suggested from a post I made on the sick plants forums I've watered all the girls today with just Ph'd water at 6.7 till about 20% runoff. Will take a picture of the room.room . to.see how the girls are taking it in about 10 hours when I head to work

No feed today still pretty wet from the heavy watering it got yesterday. They seem to be doing OK will.give them a light feeding tomorrow. These guys have definitely being stunted from my improper care of them.

In other news my cheap.chinese ph meter from amazon quit half way thru my flush yesterday and I had to use pool strips to finish the watering as no hydro stores In my small city are open on Sunday but today I swung bye the store and bit the bullet and purchased a blue lab ph pen which I have soaking over night per instructions

Sorry for not responding sooner bud. life has been kinda crazy and i have been out of town . do you think the flush has helped? the infirmary is the go to place for diagnosis. you will be surprised how fast they respond .

Flush definitely helped out the devil cream, I did have to take a lot of dead fan leaves of it so will see how she responds. As for the sweet trainwrecks they seem fine just small the salt buildup hadn't started.to affect them as much

Day 36

Didn't feed the girls today they were still really wet from there drenching Saturday evening, I've got there feed all ready to go and will feed them when I get up at 3am to head to work. Gonna give them

1ml to liter of

Bio grow
Calmg+
Bio root
Bio Weed
Bio marine

Today is the first day of week 6 for these girls and they are tiny still, got the lights at 20 inches on full spectrum.

Sweet seeds says this is a 8 week seed to harvest but a I've seen a few journals.were people wanting the max yield would just plan to finish at around 10 weeks. I'm wondering when I should be switching to bloom feed? I had planned on taking these girls to 10 weeks and switching to bloom feed somewhere between now and the start of week 7 should I still be doing that even with the plants so undersized?

I added some dollar store cages to the tent under each plant so they don't sit right in there tray and soak up the runoff
