Took some trichome shots from the Afghan x NL cross...as she's started to drink less and less. Still after two days her pot isn't dry yet...

The trichomes look mostly milky with some clear...

Let's just wait another week before we check these trichomes again as I have to get surgery tomorrow and the day after everything will be done, but at minimum effort

Hey guys/gals

The end is near for this beautiful lady...After three days she drank her pot empty and I was glad I could water her again. This time I didn't dowse the pot like I always do as they drink like a templar with them high heat temperatures inside the greenhouse.

Wednesday night I did spray the entire greenhouse top to bottom with Spinosad. I mixed up my large 15L backpack style sprayer and went to town spraying every surface, nook and cranny...Every leaf got drowsed on both sides and must have sprayed way to much as the floor was soaking wet, but those pesky little aphids were beginning to get the overhand on me and plucking infected leaves wasn't doing it for me anymore...

I did find two small buds with mold inside. Each time a old dried up leaf, which pulled out to easy, betrayed the fact of what was lying beneath...Dreaded mold. And yes, I didn't treat these ladies with @Phyter's RotBlock. Because...It's all gone...the tub he sent me is as empty as my grow tent is at the moment

These buds do look like they are there...But I'm waiting until next week Wednesday to check the trichomes and then decide if we go on or cut down...

She won't be going much longer as even the smaller leaves emerging from the buds are starting to change color as they are drained dry for their nutrients and meanwhile being used as trashbins for the plants waste products before they are cast away... The leaf above is such an example of a leaf about to be cast away...

Still these are about the last pistils on the plant which show a light and "almost" fresh appearance...

The amount of trichomes on these buds is amazing. Havent touched her or sampled her yet, but if she's as Northern Lights as DP's Auto White Widow is 90's White Widow, then I'm in for a ride...And smelling her, she smells really floral. Just like a Northern Lights in production smells. This floral goes away for the most part and what remains is that freshness on top of that pure Indica base.

Even the lower buds are coated with ample trichomes...An instant classic me thinks...
And I think she will be a great producer for extract fans. I'll be pressing me some rosing from her to see how she stands up against the Auto White Widow which gave about 10% return from dried bud.

Another sunny day today and the remaining ladies inside the greenhouse a loving the high temperatures and low humidity. A perfect environment for ripening those buds... As temps were around 35°C/95°F and humidity sat at 35%

I really like the way I topped my plants this season. This method gave plenty of nice sized colas per plant, without to much mold. Last year mold was a big issue, but then humidity regularly sat around and above 90%

Combine that with the fact I didn't have to do diddlysquat to the plants except give water, this is the easiest grow I've done to date! I would like to do a shoutout to @SuperSativaSeedClub_John and Karel from BioTabs as I couldn't have done this without them

Great plants. And water/bio tabs only? Very nice results. I do suspect the grower had a bit to do with it. I've seen his work before, quite good.

Thanks mate!! But must admit...This time, even a monkey could have gotten good results.
The combination of soil life that BioTabs adds to your medium and the slow release nutrient tabs is just perfect.
If you combine this with an Autopot system you can leave it alone for multiple days on end...

Went into the greenhouse to water the ladies and saw this beauty...She's starting to wilt and this means that even though the trichomes aren't where I would like them to be I am taking her down today...

I have no complaints about this girl and in combination with BioTabs this grow went like a cinch. Have a look at those trichomes...I can honestly say, they smell exactly how they look

After cutting her down, I hung her upside down in the greenhouse and started to remove all the infected (aphids) fan leaves. Also found one cola which was completely infected and absolutely yuck, so I removed that branch and looked if I could recover something from it, but I ended up tossing it. I have more then enough weed to last me a while, so why bother risking them spreading on the plant while drying...
This picture, the plants is hanging upside down in the shed drying as is, with most fan leaves removed and all the rest hanging on the plant as to extend the drying period as long as possible

Fluorescent lighting isn't the best for pictures, but you get my drift

So hope it's a flashback to 90's Northern Lights...

All the buds look nice and frosty!!

OK, so I'll come back to this thread when drying has finished and then I'll show you guys some weight pictures ánd have a smoke report from the AK47 x Karel's Haze cross ready.
