Indoor Bob's Mars Hydro adventure, growing in a TS1000+60x60 Complete Tent Kits

Loving this grow Bob. You have the same setup as me. Same tent dimensions and light. However, I have my inline fan and air filter externally.

I notice your always tweaking temperature settings. Have you cross checked the temperature of the room your tents in, with temps inside the tent?

I've found 1 degrees hotter in the room can exaggerate tent temps by more than the 1 degrees.

Just a thought mate. Keep up the good work!
Thanks mate! Couldn't do that myself as I vent directly outside. The filter is purely for my own ease of mind. Wouldn't want that smell ending up at the neighbors when they have a party or doing something outside.
The lung room where the tent sits isn't controllable. It isn't heated or has any windows, so temp/humidity wise it is what it is

OK...smoked so much weed last night I couldn't even see the keys on the keyboard anymore... Coffee is my friend now....:coffee2:

:welcome: to today post. I've got quite some things to share with you people so strap in and follow along.
Since I've started the 'breeding project' the temperature has gone haywire inside the tent...

I guess the extra 150W of light shining on the seedlings in the lung room is the cause of that. On the other hand in the description at Dutch Passion's website it states that Auto Night Queen prefers a humidity below 50%. And since the two younger Night Queens are now also in flower I can turn the dial up on the extraction fan lowering both temperature and humidity. I'll probably have to dial back on the light as well even though I feel the plants are really using up all those photon's.

At least the plants are loving it inside the tent. Left side Auto White Widow and Auto Night Queen n°1 @ day 56 and on the right side Auto Queen n°1 & 2 @ day 46. Looking at this picture it seems my attempt to follow Antonio's advice and supercrop them has failed and needs to be done again.

Also some fun news as the treatment with STS has finally payed off. The first male sacs have emerged :woohoo1:
Now just keep a good eye on it and remove the branch before the sacs start to open...

Well...That's it for today. Oh no, almost forgot the time lapse... :haha:

Hey growers,

Normally I would be flooding you guys with pictures and such, but today I'm stuck to couch. No, I didn't smoke to much this time, but rather my back is killing me. I'm doing physio, but what I need is a consult with a specialist to give me a shot in the back. Then I'm good for half a year or so, but getting an audience with them 'specialists' is so darn difficult. I have to wait until mid next month for my appointment which is a drag...:cuss:

But enough about me...Inside the tent everything is going dandy. I don't have pictures, but those of you following along get the jest of it watching the temp/humidity log. The temperature is on the high side, but that will level out by the morning. I could lower the wattage of the light, but I feel the flowers get the most of it right now... I could turn the extraction fan up a notch, which will lover the humidity even more. We're at 32% inside the house now, but the coming days it will rain, so humidity will go up I suppose and then the raise in extraction will make even more sense.
I'll try to get to the tent tomorrow. I will need to fill the water tank for the autopots. Also try to take some pictures then...We'll see

Other then the above babble I still have the bi-daily time lapse. The one from yesterday was actually from the day before, but then something :baked: came up... speed = 25fps, duration = 24 hours.

Good luck with your back. I use to get cortisone shots in my lower spine for a few years until I lost my medical insurance a long time ago. Now if its bad I just eat a couple hundred MG of rosin gummies and forget I even have a lower spine LOL..... But in all honesty Rosin topical rubs or edibles are great for medicating for pain.

I use to get cortisone shots in my lower spine
Some cocktail like that will be injected in my back after the man cracks my back at certain spots. It immobilizes you for a day or two and afterwards you feel like new. Normally it's in and out, but now because of corona apparently there are more people with back problems and the waiting list is so long :cuss:
Wish I had some rosin now... I've pinched a branch or two from the White Widow a couple of days ago and must say. This is amazing weed*, but to get the pain to go away I now have to rely on Rivotril. Normally when I have backpain 0.5mg, max 1mg / day is enough. I'm currently at 4 to 6mg per day now, just to be able to go to the bathroom and drive to the physio. And I know...I shouldn't be driving while taking that medicine, but I only take 0.5mg to get the edge off. After physio, when I get home I take a long hot bath and take 2mg, that get's me through the day. In the evening it wares out and I resupply with another 2mg. If the night is young and I've been asleep all day, because that's a side effect of the drug, I resupply arround 2 o'clock and go the sleep...

Sorry for the rambling, also a side effect of the drug...or is it the White Widow? In either case I'll quit now...

Regards,

Bob :toke:

p.s.*The Auto White Widow, man...if you ever smoked 90's White Widow and are looking for that taste... go to Dutch Passion and order yourself a bag of seeds as these are the real deal!!! I still have some Linda's Auto White Widow lying around, but I don't know if I even want to try it since I found what I'm looking for. This one will go in my 'grow every year' pile for sure

Watch out with them pistils mate, seems to me they are getting close to opening up. On one photo (the second up) it even seemed the nana on the right is already open.

Are you going to cut the branch, put it in a glass of water and let it ripen a bit further?
How do you normally store pollen, in the freezer too?

Sad to hear about your backpain mate, corona has indeed increased the waiting lines for specialists by a lot!
Good luck with it :d5:

The youngest Night Queen ladies are still growing quite vigorously right:pop:
Always cool to see those short time lapses and watch them grow!

When I see the sacks forming I cut the branch, strip the bark and put it in a glass of water with 2% H2O2 added. I bought a metal thermos cannister in where I will put the ampules with the dry pollen and a couple of grains of dried rice.

Sad to hear about your backpain mate
I had a good day today. You'll see

It's like they are from another batch, amazing to see how f#(king things up can change a grow completely compared to when it goes the way it should.

Tadaaa....speed = 25fps, duration = 48 hours. Enjoy :thanks:

And to switch things up a bit...A nice overview of the entire tent.

The Wattage of the TS-1000 stays the same.
1650963291580_small.jpg

But I raised the speed of the extraction fan...
1650963291569_small.jpg

This resulted in a dryer environment which will only benefit all the flowering ladies inside... :woohoo1:

Hope you enjoyed todays post I'll do my best to keep shoveling it down your throats :haha:

Cheers! Currently run 3.8L (1 gallon) pots. I'll grab some 2 gallon and see how they work out.
Until 7 gallon you have the advantage of root space. Go bigger and I don't think the plants wil get bigger because of the short lifespan. I'm joining the 420L from @Seedstockers-Mark this summer just to see what will happen. Maybe he'll accompany it with a large cultivar. I really don't know.
Fun, some experimentation

Oeps, looks like someone got ghosted...Naughty naughty :naughtystep:
On to more fun subjects... My current grow inside the 60x60cm tent. It sure is stuffed in there....
The left side is preparing to go into the last fase of their life...fattening up them buds in the hope to catch any stray pollen.
The right side, although being only ten days behind is a complete different beast. I'm withholding on removing fan leaves as I saw what happened with the Night Queen on the left. But for now all the bud sites on the right are in line of sight of the light.
1651146492358_small.jpg

The TS-1000 is still at the same Wattage...
1651146455583_small.jpg

However the extraction fan is dialed up some more. This lowered both temperature and humidity, but the noise level has gone up a couple of dB. The monkey fan still is the loudest, but the extraction fan is close behind it. The airpump is the quitest. :)

Below the value's at the moment of writing. The log is from a week, those are more averaged...
