Hey Friends

Everything is smooth sailing inside the tent guys...This has been a worriless grow and all because of the BioTabs nutrient line in combination with my organic 'living' soil. The fuss I used to have, with mixing and measuring my nutrients is all a thing of the past. Would you know I haven't got a clue where my pH pen is at? Haven't touched it since I started using BioTabs

From this oversight picture you can't make out where one plant ends and the other begins. And that's because I laid everything flat under the net it's become a complete mix of all different kind of buds. But one thing is for sure! The two Dutch Passion ladies have much nicer buds. They are bigger and fatter then the two ladies in the back.

This Mimosa Punch is surely shifting into fall mode, but still looking great otherwise and all that on pure unadulterated tap water.
You can see on the time lapse that she's sheading leaves, so the end is near my friends!

Both the Do-Si-Dos and my Amnesia Something something have loads of little, but sparkly buds. The Amnesia I blame on myself for not topping her, but the Do-Si-Dos has stretched enormously creating such a great internodal space that all those buds are spread out. For the moment I can't say there is something worth keeping as it's good and possible that by letting her go a week or two longer these buds will swell up, but then that would make her a 12week cultivar and not a 10week...We'll cross that bridge when we get there

And she still has, at least, two weeks to go...And looking at those swollen calyx' I don't think I'm far of

Todays time lapse is running at 120fps as movement is very slow in these last days...I did forget to lookup the start and finish time, so if I must guess...about 72 hours. As always, please enjoy

Hey guys

Felt that the ladies were in need of some schwazzing as @420autoflower would say. In the above time lapse from yesterday you can already see fan leaves starting to shrivel and be cast away. So I helped them out a bit and removed quite some foliage...
Before- Day 69

I took my time and was careful not to disrupt the flowers to much, but still the hairs on my arms were sticking together...
After - day 69

The pots felt light and the sensors measured from 25% in the right front pot to 38% in the back left. The two others were in between these values. So I mixed up 1L of dechlorinated water with 20ml Bio PK5-8 and divided this over the pots, giving slightly more to the dryest pot and slightly less to the wettest.
Top tip...Shake the bottle Bio PK5-8 very hard before measuring your shot, this will help get it out into the measuring cup, because there's so many solids in there.

Hey Friends

Another fine day here at where I am. The sun is shining warming up the house without the need for gas or electricity
Inside the tent the temperature is roaming around a nice and cozy 23°C or 73°F. For a plant being in it's final days/weeks these conditions simulate a warm September month, but with much lower humidity inside the tent then outside would be at that time of year.
A tent has so much more control over the environment compared to my greenhouse. The disadvantage is that the tent is way way smaller and it costs money to run it, whereas the greenhouse has oodles of space and gets the best light money (or no money) can buy, namely the sun...

Anyway, I digress...So temperature is A-OK, and so is the humidity being at 56%. This is most probably the lowest as humidity in the 'lung' room is also 56%. And no, I'm not going to invest in a dehumidifier to get those extra 3 or 4% to be optimal. I'm a cheapskate and everything must be run as optimized as possible.

What you can see from these pictures is that these ladies aren't ready at all...Still throwing out new pistils every day and it doesn't look like this one is going to stop anytime soon...Must have been that extra dose of Boom Boom Spray I gave them a couple of weeks ago. I have been reading up on that one and the source ingredients they use in this products are chockful with all kinds of natural PGR's, boosting growth and vigor.

The Do-Si-Dos keeps getting frostier and frostier, but these buds are really really small.

You can clearly see the difference between the size in buds from the two front ladies and the two in the back.

This lazy bum is a branch of my Amnesia Something something that creeped underneath the canopy and started creating one of the biggest buds on that plant!

I took some 'flash' shots...Winter is coming my friends...Oh, yeah

Today's time lapse is made at 120fps as things are really starting to slow down as you might have guessed. Duration = 81 hours, so enjoy the show

Hey Friends,


It seems as if the harvest window is opening up...Some of my cultivars are clearly almost there, while others might need a couple of days more...
So, I'm checking daily now with the scope. Of course I like to share, so please enjoy
On a sidenote... Temperatures outside have dropped significantly and this also impacts the temperature in the tent. It's barely 19°C/66°F inside. Luckily humidity is hanging around 48% so I'm not worried about mold or anything.

The Mimosa Punch looks like she's got a couple of days before she'll show some ambers...

There are even place with clear patches...

The Trichome and Cream makes me wonder as she showing amber, but also loads of clear trichomes...

The Amnesia looks like she is the furthest showing these amount of ambers all over.

As you can see in the time lapse...These ladies are shutting down for the season.

Bit the bullet today...

It was time to harvest the two ladies in the back and make some room for my two DP ladies.

First I harvested the Do-Si-Dos Auto...Which, if you look carefully, you see me pulling from the underside of the SCROG net. I wanted to hang the ladies as a whole to slow down the drying process. I have 14 days before someone has access to the drying space (don't bother asking...incredible long and complicating story...), so with the temperature inside the lung room at 18.6°C / 65.5°F and humidity at 54% I think I have a good chance to get this dry enough to trim and jar in this time...

I also removed my Amnesia Something something from the equation. This created loads of headroom for the Mimosa Punch and the Trichome & Cream. So these got re-adjusted and laid down on top of the SCROG netting.

This being the result of my work today...

Since all the branches were moved down at least 10cm / 4inch, I could adjust the light a bit to get the temperatures back above 23°C / 73°F as I feel the two remaining Dutch Passion ladies can still benefit from a prolonged vacation under the artificial sunlight.

Also lowered the extraction fan even more as humidity is still around 45% and the less air that needs to be removed the less heat that get's sucked away...Yeah...Win Win

And so today's time lapse end's where today's post begins... Speed = 120fps, duration = 73 hours...Enjoy

I missed you're thread mate but I'm here now.
I can't get use to social media at all you would think after a year I would be sound.

No problem m8. It's all guuuud
Went to the tent today to check up on the ladies and because I was curious how the smell would be. Seems I have been worrying for nothing. The extraction fan in the tent not only creates a vacuum inside the tent, but does this also for the lung room. So now I can dry without having to worry about the smell.

While I was up there I made some pictures, as we all know you can't get enough of it

These Dutch Passion ladies are really something...When I harvested the Do-Si-Dos I found out just how much she had branched out and stretched. Inside this small tent she didn't fare to well producing loads of small popcorn buds. But I do think that this one is to be repeated next season in the greenhouse...with enough soil to feed her big and bulky and then end up with that amount of frost! Noice!!!
...But I was talking about the DP ladies...Look at how they have bulked up and still with loads of nice green leaves.

I've got enough in my jars and I'm in no hurry and as you'll see in a moment the harvest window for these ladies is just starting to open up...

I also went for a closer look and checked the trichomes...Don't know exactly which picture is which cultivar, but you can see the first ambers starting to appear. Let's see how far I'm willing to let these girls go. I'm game for some night time medicine

We're almost at the finish line...The girls are barely drinking and the leaves are starting to die off one by one. But that's how the cookie crumbles I guess...

The buds are looking nice and frosty

As you can see the trimjob won't be that bad. And with the leftovers I can make me some hash or butter

Yum!

What do you guys/gals think?

Maybe some trichome shots to help make up your mind will do the trick?

Still, here and there some clear trichomes...

And also ambers in between the clear trichomes.

At 85 day's today I feel I can start preparing for the next grow

Gonna give it a couple of days. I want to see a bit more amber and a lot less clear! Night night...ZZzzz...

In the background you see non-glandular trichomes. Those are the spikey ones and are primarily used for defense, either mechanical or by secreting sugars.

The values inside the tent are also perfect, especially knowing that it's so cold outside...brrrr...Summertime in the tent...

Ok guys, Antonio,

It's on...These are the last pictures of Auto Mimosa Punch and Auto Trichome & Cream. We're at day 91 and they look like they've had enough...

Each branch is packed with copious amounts of bud.

It could be called fluffy, but I like my buds completely developed. A calyx must be fully expanded for the trichomes to have enough room to grow.

And of trichomes is no shortage...

Nom nom....

Turned the light off. Removed it from the tent for another project... And closed the curtains... The fan and extraction fan were still running like before.

And I just saw that by removing the light the values went like this...
So I went to the tent and turned the extraction fan way up and am now following my app like if it was my baby... This humidity needs to go down or the lights must go on again... But this is asking for mold, no? Tom

I think the deal home deal is very sound, a W here a W there and its all good - can't wait to see what you come up with Bobs!

Nothing that soon and as I said a heater wasn't an option as I care for my personal safety...
Over night humidity steadily rose to 62.something% and all my interventions during the day did nothing to get it back to lower values...So I finally opted out and harvested the ladies. The thought of mold getting into all that hard work was getting to me. At least they did get a full 36 hours of dark, right Antonio?
