As you could see in the time lapse above, that Boom Boom Spray is worth it's weight in gold...
Went to the tent to adjust the extraction fan, as humidity was still a tad high with it's +75% and this put the entire VPD out of whack...
Have a look where I ended up after about 15min's of adjusting... Do you see the little scratch mark, this is where I ended up last year...

Didn't have to adjust the lighting just yet...The temperature is still in a good range. Also running the light at half it's rated wattage reduces the running cost.

The values ended up in perfect conditions...

I've got a good cold for more then a week now, but this weekend was the worst. So, I didn't have the energy to do anything more then occasionally have a look at the time lapse footage. But today I was feeling better and after work, got to spend some time with my ladies...
Let's begin with our Mimosa Punch...She's looking beautiful and lush! Except for trimming the first node side shoots away I didn't do anything to this lady and look at how beautiful she's forming every side node. This is one happy plant ladies and gents!!

She's creating new sets of leaves every day now. The growth spurt these ladies are having is just amazing...Filling up the entire surface of the tent and steadily growing up. That Boom Boom Spray is an amazing product and speaks for itself!

Whenever I open the tent a sweet smell is slapping me in the face and I try to find out which lady is responsible for this sweet treat every time. I think it's this Trichome & Cream. She sounds sweet doesn't she?

Next up my Do-Si-Dos which hasn't got a worry in the world...Look at those leaves.

Nice internodal spacing and extending of the side shoots. Yup, this is going to be a nice and compact plant.

And last but not least, my very own Amnesia cross. She's the most compact of all four ladies inside the tent...

Oh yes. Also turned up the light ever so slightly over 50%... I'm going to follow up on this the coming days and see how the leaves will react, but for now I feel they can take a bit more. As the light is still reaching through the canopy and lighting up the soil no defoliation is necessary...

...and as you can see, humidity is in the right range for these plants. The temperature could be a tad higher and that's why I'm raising the output of the light.
Didn't had to water the plants since Thursday and the pots are still feeling heavy enough to go on for at least two to three days. So that would be (almost) one week on a full drench. The lazy stoner in me is laughing his ass off to the old chemical growing me, I tell ya!!

Guess that's why you only use it the first and second week in flower. Any further along will probably stink up the bud sites...
I've got another question for ya. Any idea how long it takes for the Mimosa Punch to show sex? We're only at day 28 now, I know.
But the Trichome & Cream is definitely showing sex. Have a look for yourselves

On another topic...After one week I watered the plants again. This time the entire 5L (water + 5gr Bactrex + 10ml Orgatrex) got divided over the four pots and the drainage went back into the pots until everything got absorbed by the medium.
I raised the pots an set them on two pan racks from Ikea. This raises them enough from the tray so the pots don't have to stand into their own water.

I did some light defoliation on all four ladies. Removing only the lower leaves which were touching the ground...

Because I watered the plants I did raise the extraction fan to the set-point from last year. Maybe I'll dial it back down in a couple of days, but for now it's necessary to lower the humidity.

And to compensate for the temperature loss I turned the output to about 60% and raised the light as high as the rope-a-majigs allowed to get some more distance between the light and the leaves.

The values are far from perfect, but it can't always be Christmas morning

Ok, next up I have a video tour from within my tent. I stole borrowed the idea from my buddy @St. Tom, so here goes...

Hey Friends

Had a feeling the Mimosa Punch couldn't be far behind of her Trichome & Cream sister and sure as hell...I did find some female flowers on her.

The two other ladies in the back didn't show sex yet, but then they're all in the back so...
Since the two Dutch Passion ladies are showing, they're ready for the next step. And ya'll know my tent is only 60x60 so I have to make use of that small surface. So I got to work on all these pretties and started with removing all the big fan leaves. When I was done I felt sick to my stomach, looking at the damage I've done...I was so in shock that I even forgot to take pictures from them...
Once I had a breather joint outside I went back in and overviewed the situation. Three and a half naked ladies with barely any foliage left were standing there like old discarded Christmas trees.

I took my SGROG net out and placed it above the plants and started to tuck every shoot under the netting...

Everything else below the SCROG net got picked away. Yup, even more damage was applied to the ladies...

Now...The main shoot needed to be redirected as well, so I started squeezing and turning the stem until it finally buckled...

I did this for all three ladies. The Amnesia is the exception here as she's staying very low...

When it was the Do-Si-Dos' turn I got a bit to overzealous and broke off both side shoots where I bent the main stem.

When I was done I doused everyone with some Boom Boom Spray so recovery would be accelerated...

When I was done, humidity was a bit high as I received multiple alarms from my Blynk app. But by now the humidity has lowered to a more manageable 68.2%

I also have a shorter 28 hour time lapse until the treatment. This way I can start with a clean slate... Anyway, enjoy

Dowsed the ladies with Boom Boom Spray after I did some serious damage last night! (look above) And in just 16 hours the plants have gone from this...

...to this...

Ok, I'll have to adjust some shoots here and there in a couple of days, but look at these results. Just an amazing product

I also been seeing you mention this boom boom spray a lot. Ima have to look into it.

Edit: After looking into BioTabs, they are only available in EU, not US.

Yeah I know, BioTabs is hard at work to get their products certified so they can start exporting to the USA. For now I just heard that @NorseGrower found a seller on Amazon which ships Stateside...

Me too brother. Growth has been amazing the last few days...Just had a visit to tuck in the shoots that emerged above the netting already, lol.
I made another time lapse. Duration 65 hours, speed = 25fps





Oh, I also have another 5L water canister with one teaspoon Magnesium Sulfite in it, on the ready. Usually around day 35 they seem to lighten in color and I've always suspected it to be the fault of the Magnesium being deficit. We'll soon find out if my thesis is correct...
Also added some extra's...2 teaspoons Bactrex, 25ml Orgatrex, 8ppm Ethephon, 2.5ppm BAP, 300ppb TRIA & 2ppb BRASS

The last days the values inside the tent have be perfect! Nothing to complain about. There is one thing for the future though. Because of the high cost of electricity I had to disconnect the electrical boiler in the lung room where the tent is at. This always kept the room at around 18-20°C / 64 - 68°F.
I'll soon find out if this intrenchment has some deteriorating effects on the plants.

Hey guys/gals

So I fed my ladies yesterday evening with the 5L mix (described above) and this canopy cannot look any better if I can say so...

@Vapo or other SCROGgers should I tuck these under again? Or am I getting to close to flower? Have a look at the time lapse in the end, as it looks like the clusters in the tops are getting closer together as time passes...

The main stalk of the Mimosa Punch. If you follow that branch to the top, it looks like nothing happened...Amazing how fast they recovered. Thanks you again BioTabs and specifically the Boom Boom Spray

And the main branch of the Trichome & Cream. "That!??...Always been there"

Tonight I looked around for these little f#(kers...They had to go as they are far below the SCROG line and only suck energy from the top shoots.

Another one..."Die M0th3rf#(ker, die!!"

The weather has changed for the worst and humidity is very high indoors and even higher outside (96%). So airing out the house doesn't do didly squat...And looking at the forecast for the coming week there won't be any day below 80%... Fall is here and Winter is coming....

Hey AFN Fam


Everything is going on auto pilot inside the tent. The last three days I've only had to check on the time lapse footage and my Blynk app to see that everything is going perfect...I've found my way of growing in BioTabs, I've seen the light brothers and sisters. Why I ever thought I could replace mother nature...So stupid of me

I had to water the pots today as it was about time to weigh them and they felt light. So I took 5L dechlorinated water, added two heaped teaspoons of Bactrex to it and gave it a good shake. Slowly distributing the liquid over the soil as not to create dry pockets and let everything soak in instead of running through the medium into the tray.

After all that hard work it was time to take me some pictures...
The canopy is looking amazing and there are countless budsites emerging and expanding. Have a look for yourself

I'm not calling it early flower yet, but we're getting there...

This is what the tent looks like now. I've done nothing except water the lot since I've SCROGged...And there's still loads of room for those buds to form and grow big!!

After taking the pictures it was time to siphon off the water that did drain through the pots into the tray. Must have been about 200ml not much more...
The humidity inside, since I watered the ladies has been on the high side, but that will level out in the coming hours...Temperature is good though

Hey Friends

How's everything going with you guys? Everything is going well inside the tent.
I sprayed the ladies with some Boom Boom Spray on Friday and again...This product does wonders to the plants. Down below in the time lapse you'll see at around 11 seconds that the leaves get wet...After that, growth accelerates immensely

Let's begin with an overview of the canopy. Which looks nice and even...

Flower has set in. And the ladies are definitely producing a massive amount of bud sites...

The smell in the tent is amazing. Don't know exactly which lady is producing it, but it sure is a treat for the nostrils.

I did remove some leaves underneath the netting...

...But even these are still looking perfectly green.

Here and there I also removed a bigger fan leave opening up some space for the bud sites to expand.

Today I gave the ladies their first taste of PK Booster Compost Tee, which sat brewing for the last 30 hours. Each pot received 1L of tea siphoned slowly from the 5L canister in which the tea was brewed. I made sure I didn't siphon any of the sediment of the tea as I feel this would be to much already for the ladies. This way they can adapt more slowly to the alternate nutrient schedule.

Also adjusted the power output to almost 75%

And I also turned the dial up on the extraction fan.

This results in a nice warm summer temperature and almost perfect humidity. Luckily I still have a way to go on the extraction fan's potmeter.
