i am a beginner at autos, can you or anyone else tell me what is better for growing? soil or hydro

Welcome to the AFN bro, youre lucky you've found us! Im a newcomer too but I can tell you, Organics taste better, I'd say that on soil it will be EASIER to cultivate and correct any mistake.
Hydro shal be "less forgiving", in other words you may kill all your plants if you mistake or if the energy get cut... you know?

I'd recommend only going for hydro by first time if money isn't a problem, but be aware that you will need a lot more equipments like EC mether, ph mether... ph up and down... its just a lot of things to give you a headache.

I'd start with soil, learn with the strains and then if you feel like you know them enough to recognize their "signals" try hidro...

But if you feel like you gotta try hydro anyways, check this out.

But as I said, study more before you do it! I'd recommend you to watch Jorge Cervante's ultimate grow guide, you shall purchase his DVDS (wich are very instructive), books and e-books from his home page.
(or you might as well copy the names and try to download in pdf... or whatever from "kick ass torrents", "the pirate bay", but if you can afford it, you won't regret!)
Youtube also contains a lot of content... anyways you gotta search it! :smoke:

Good luck!

Great advice gsbm. Start with the more forgiving soil and work your way up. When and if you do decide to try hydro start small like with one plant in a DWC just to get basics down and to get a feel for everything involved with hydro set-ups.
