I guess I will start easing my journal onto this site and away from the other. First things first. I was new to autos and a novice grower at best when I ordered my first seeds in October. I have limited space and budget so I figured autos seemed the best way for me to get maximum results with what I had. I use CFLs, I have eleven 42 watt bulbs and twenty five 26 watt bulbs. I have been adding bulbs as the budget allows. The first thing people think is that is a fuckload of bulbs and I agree but it works for now. I will upgrade to hps the next time I stumble across a money bush big enough to cover the expense.

So far the autos have been good to me. I have been harvesting plants every week or two since around the end of November. I have a couple of issues that I am dealing with now. Fungus gnats, thrips and a case of neem oil burn. All in all I seem to be getting it right with a little help from more experienced growers and my own obsession with bushy little bitches.

In the last week I have started six mixed sex BHDs from the attitude. So this will be a breeding project at the start. Here are the little sprouts this morning.

As you see in the group pic I have a couple of girls almost ready. They both lost a few fan leaves to the neem oil burn but the buds are there and set so I think it was mostly cosmetic damage. There was another one that was about a month old. It will be stunted from the burn. I can already tell, It was a slow grower to boot so I don't have the highest hopes for it.

Thanks J. I figured it was time to start migrating over here. The poor old art of the auto thread at the last place is dead and stinking. I still have a journal there but I will let it wind down and track my progress here.

looking good teflon as usual.... didnt know you were a "novice" you wouldnt be able to tell it from the shiz you grow.... You always got a nice harvest rolling...

There is a reason my girls don't look like most noob growers and that is research, research, and more research I went through many threads on many forums to get the info I needed. On everything from seedbanks to breeders to methods. I had a good idea of what I wanted and what I had to work with. From there I looked at what other people were doing with the methods at my disposal and saw what worked and didn't work. I have grown photo period girls outdoors but it has been years since I had a place or the balls to do it again. I feel safer growing behind closed doors. This is the first time I have tried my hand at a continuous harvest. I only wish I had pursued my passion sooner. The authorities in my little spot on the map are very harsh on people like me.

I am thinking continuous is the way to go... I am thinking now I would love to get 3 new females every 3-4 weeks and harvest 3 autos a month or every 3 weeks.... that would be HEAVEN! My dad is a Sheriff.... on the West coast though... I told him about my "habit" and that I partake about daily.... he laughed..

Ladies look good. Continuous AF harvest is the way to grow! Careful of not over-researching - can't quickly become confusing!
There is a lot of info out there but I know how to distill it down to what I need to apply for myself. It isn't to hard to get some consensus from growers about what works and what doesn't. I tend to pay more attention to people with nice healthy plants. Even though I am a dummy I don't confuse easily

Damn it they look good. The structure and flower size is amazing..

Have you guys seen that kit kat commercial with the test dummys? It remindes me of TD every time it comes on.. Maybe later i'll try to find the vid for those that haven't i howl every time it comes on.
