Hi all, as the title suggests... Going over to the Biotab side, the ease of feeding so much less really appeals to me, especially in the tight area I grow in (always was spilling nutrients on the carpet before!). I want to focus on training the plants and getting them a big as possible, whilst maintaining a fully organic grow (quality mean more to me than quantity)
Nutrients & Medium
- Autopot 15L x 2 (Easy2Grow system, Large)
- 60% BioBizz Light Mix / 40% Perlite, with a layer of perlite at the bottom of each pot.
- Ecothrive Charge
- Biotabs Starter Pack, Silicone Flash, Boom Boom Spray, PK Tea
Strains:
Humboldt Blue Dream Auto x 2
Lighting etc
Platinum LED P300
Tower fan
Humidifier
4" Rhino Fan & Filter

I'll be planting directly into the soil, after giving the pots a soaking, with 5L each of plain water . I may have already effed up - when mixing the soil at the beginning, I added 8-10 tablespoons of EcoThrive charge to the potting mix, which was a 30L total. Hopefully this wasn't a toxic overload as I know it's way too much, kicking myself now. If I burn the seedlings and have to start over, it'll be a lesson to check rather than guess how many grams are in a tablespoon! Perhaps some sort of extra large pre-watering to flush the worst of it out? Not sure.
Idea is going to be to SCROG both plants, and maybe even top at the fifth node, we'll see how they are getting on, space is really tight (90cm wide, 45cm deep and 175cm high) with some sort of probably poorly-made SCROG device. I accidentally topped my last Blue Dream at about 4 weeks, and she still ran out a comfortable winner in the yield contest amongst my plants in the last grow. I got 50g dry in a 6L pot which was okay considering the average was 28g ish.
The water is bubbling, and I will be soaking the seeds within the next 48 hours to begin the journey! Can't wait. Would be lovely to have people along for the ride to help me when I run into all my inevitable troubles
Having a dab now, to the plant's good health. Some BHO Loud Fire Oil Refinery Stardawg shatter, it's sugared up in the heat though. Terpenes on it are insane, also pictured are some X-tract Krew 1st pull Hash Rosin (Ammnesia, Spanish Bag & AK-47) and the BioTabs mug that I so kindly received with my starter kit! Been a busy, hazy Monday.
