Dutch Passion Blue AutoMazar, Auto White Widow and others..

Ok another BAM and AWW have gone in the dirt October 10th, at roughly 11 a.m. Just sowed the seeds into the dirt straight from the DP pack they came in to minimize stress. Each pot is a 4 gallon pot ...with about 3 gallons happy frog and a gallon of perlite in each pot. I also added 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime per gallon and each pot has 1/2 mosquito dunk mixed into it.

For some reason on my last attempt with BAM neither of the them came up when i sowed them straight to soil. Not sure it was the technique or what cause both AWW that were germed the same way under the same conditions came up fast and grew vigorously so hopefully the BAM doesnt give me any issues this time :wiz:

Mind if I sub in from here on out? Good looking stuff bro.:pop:

lil advice needed here.

Ok guys let me break down my situation the best i can without pics...(its lights off right now or i would post them)

Well about 5 days ago my Auto White Widow showed signs of Nitrogen toxicity, i lowered the amount of N to almost nothing but today it still has some clawing and the Nitrogen toxicity seems to still be an issue, i also noticed some brown spots which i believe may be the start of calcium deficiency.

Now today is watering day so im wondering whats the best option for me...should i..

1. Just water with plain water to help wash out the excess Nitrogen.

2. Give bloom nutes which has less N (but still has N in it)

3. My last idea was to top dress with dolomite lime (keep in mind i already mixed 1 tablespoon per gallon into the soil) and water that in with plain water. That way the dolomite lime can supply some calcium and magnesium but the plain water can wash out excess Nitrogen. thats my theory atleast casue the bag says "supplies calcium and magnesium".

please let me know what you guys think :D:

AWW#1 on day 40. This is the one i need help deciding my next move on...

not sure if i should give plain water or bloom nutes, because it looks hungry for bloom nutes but also i think the plain water would help wash out some N, what you guys think? :smokebuds:

should i give plain water or bloom nutes? and if i switch to bloom nutes since it has less N will that help the N toxicity at all or only plain water will? the NPK of my bloom nutes is 2-8-4.

rep for any help given.

I had the same problem with my AWW a couple of weeks ago. I just used plain water for a feed or two. The leaves with the clawing never recovered but new growth was ok. I think if I was doing it again I would have flushed the soil but I'm certainly no expert! The N toxicity was immediately followed by a Mag deficiency. I'm not sure if the two problems were related but I'm interested to see how things go on your grow

I feel you man that's what happened to mine, did the mag deficiency get worse after the flush or improve? :smokebuds:

Alright well I ended up just feeding a gallon of distilled water to the AWW #1 with no nutes, just plain water. I did add some dolomite lime on top, not sure exactly how much I just took a big spoonful then sprinkled in on top then mixed it into the soil a bit before I watered it in. I did add 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime per gallon in the beginning before I planted but a bit more won't hurt right? I mainly wanted to add it because it says it supplies calcium and magnesium. What do you think guys, should I should have gave bloom nutes instead or did I make the right choice? Any constructive criticism is welcome :smokebuds:
