Hi Blue. Wanted to ask you what you would do for germinating ww's next time round having gone on the proverbial learning curve.......I've had a terrible time with the germinating, temps and all. WW was the only one that performed well - paper towel and root almost like yours when planted. She's doing brill. But I'm thinking about doing the cup method directly into soil (Bio light mix) popping them in a propagator where I can control temp and humidity easily for the first couple of weeks of life.
Dunno. What dya think ?

Hey Nixx - Sorry for the late reply
From now on I think i will stick to the paper towel method. The way i do it is pop the seed in one sheet of kitchen towel, fold it in half 3 times, moisten it with a bit of water, put it in a zip lock back, put the bag in the box that my seeds came in from DP (it's a perfect size) and then leave on the sky box for a couple of days. That should get a nice tap root out

I wont try the tier method again. I'm sure it works great for some people, but for me, it's straight into the final 10 litre pot and a bit of a spray.
I won't pre water my pot again, i'l just be dropping the seed with the root out and give the tiniest bit of water every few days. I'll stick with my coke bottle tops for humidity domes for about a week while they're tiny!

Ill try just the paper towel method like you explain.. I do the water in the shot glass.. then paper towel..covered with black plastic instead of ziplock bag . then right in.. usually only a few days and they are ready to go! I leave them in my laundry room.. always warm in there.. Lol..as always

I'll take some shots on Monday - which may also be the chop day. I managed to get my WW fully under the light now at a decent height above the canopy. Looks like a half ouncer but we shall see!
Very strong smell boss! Really putting my carbon filter through its paces ^_^
