Sweet Seeds Bloody Skunk & Sweet Trainwreck

Pictures are sweet dude, they look great. Is that the auto Moby Dick you are going for or the photo. I have grown the photo and its a real nice smoke.

Its the Auto mate - I like Dinafems genetics so I´m looking forward to it - I heard some good things about it so we´ll see if I can do it justice!

Nice herb. Got some Sweet stuff to drool on this spring.

Cheers bro! :Sharing One:

excellent grow always! you guy's have really sold me on the sweet's. next order fo sho. :slap:

Ah elsamurai thanks for the rep bro - really nice of you .

I´m a real Sweet Seeds fan boy - they are really reliable and forgiving. Its funny I always get a bit tense growing a new strain from any breeder apart from them - they just always deliver, even when I fuck things up!

no prob always. iv'e seen so many sweet grow's and they all have looked amazing. I have outdoor flower bed's so I'm alway's looking for color full plant's

Afternoon all. After my Trainwreck was chopped down I planted an Auto Cream Manderine to replace her. As always ahe went straight into my soil mix that was pre-soaked with pH 6.5 water and a splash of Voodoo Juice.

She popped her head up this morning and is under a CFL bulb until she has established herself then its straight into the tent.

Here she is in all her glory!

I really want to point something out as well. I have been growing Sweet Seeds Autos for a good couple of years now. I have grown virtually every strain that has been released (and some more than once) and I still have a 100% germination record from them. To me, that is an extraordinary record and is testament to the quality product that Sweet produce.

Its always the same - I prepare my soil, drop the seed straight in (in its final pot) and 24-72 hours later they pop. I don´t pre-soak, use paper towels or anything else, I just chuck em in the pot and 9-11 weeks later I harvest them. Awesome!

Oh, and sorry for blathering on but I wake and baked some Trainwreck popcorn this morning and am feeling quite chatty!:woohoo:

"Munch..munch..munch

Ah Opi, you bought munchies! Mate if I can get her close to looking as good as yours I´ll be a happy little bunny!

Nice one man im looking forward to this one. I may try you germination method as its very like mine except i soak the seed in some water and wait for it to drop and then plant it straight into its final home.

Hey Grim, thanks for stopping by bro. I´m a pretty clumsy and heavy handed person - its just the way I am, so for me the fewer processes involved in germination, the less things there are for me to fuck up!

Plus if we strip things back to basics, seeds have done ok for millions of years straight into the dirt, so I figure if its good enough for evolution, its good enough for me!:Smoke no Evil:

Happy Saturday everyone. I chopped down my first Bloody Skunk last night. What a plant! The nugs are dense, covered in sparkling trichs, and she stinks to high heaven - fruity with undertones of cat piss and petrol!

So without further ado here are a few pics of her pre and post harvest. She is hands down the most beautiful plant I have ever grown!

The main cola is the size of a 2L bottle of pepsi!

Most of the side branches were this sort of size:

With a few smaller ones:

So thats about it for that girl - she is on my drying rack and will go in jars as soon as she is ready. Next out is my second Bloody Skunk who is now on plain water. She´s at the very start of the harvest window so will probably come down early next week. Here is a sneak peek:

So I´m a happy little boy right now. I will certainly be growing this again - the scissor hash was potent in a couch locky eat the contents of the fridge kind of way so I can´t wait to try her after she is ready!

Finally I just want to say a massive thank you to opi8250 for nominating her for Bud of the Month. That was a real unexpected surprise and absolutely made my month!
