Indoor Blackstrap and LSD-25

The blackstrap is now on early bloom nutes. Getting some nice purple in the leaves. Very little frosting so far, and no smell yet.

The LSD on the other hand is frosting up quite nicely. Its on mid bloom nutes which include a bud hardener. Also no smell yet. She is in a wide menorah formation, and has stretched enough that I've had to do almost no defoliation as no buds are blocked from light. I have at this point trimmed some lower buds that would have been larf for my extract bin. Looking at the pistils and buds, I expect it to still at least double in size by harvest.

The leaves are still green, but the buds themselves are taking on a dark hue.

Approximately 60 days above ground.

The Blackstrap is starting to bulk, but still in 'dandylion' bud stage.

Calyxes aren't really obvious, light frosting.

The LSD-25 on the other hand is forming distinct calyxes and loading up.

If this were a photo sativa I'd say another month, but this Fastbuds strain has suprised me by really being well, fast buds. For sure its going to be a few more weeks before harvest. Pistils have just begun to turn, and trichromes are mostly clear. I have a weeks worth of mid bloom nutes mixed up, and will then switch to late bloom. Still feeding a 1/4 tsp of silica/gallon, and same calmag.

Here's the last sighting.

I trimmed and hung the top half this morning, I'll do the rest tomorrow.

77 days above ground. appx 3ft tall above soil, about 3ft wide.

Weight, Cost Analysis
I put 74 trimmed dry grams into a grove bag today, It may lose a gram or so as it cures.

Costs:

Organic soil $20
Fishnure $10
Dynomyco $20
Seed $10
Electricity $60
Nutrients $5
------------------------------------
Total Costs $125

My delivered costs of electricity after all fees and tax averages 36 cents/kwh. 1.2A draw

Dynomyco requires 1/4 cup per 1.5 gallons, so 3/4 cup in a 5 gallon. In essence if it doesn't add 34 grams to my harvest, or increase quality of meds it isn't worth $20. For now I'm continuing it.

Cost per gram $1.69
Cost per Oz $47.30
