Hi all, I'm getting into my last week or so of my snow ryder (white label)
I've been feeding with biobizz products with the occasional blackstrap molasses and recently been adding the top max nutes
I seem to remember reading sometime ago to feed with a sugar solution for the last few weeks to fatten up the buds, anyone able to shed some more light on this recomendation?
I've also found a small bottle of big bud that I bought and forgot about, not sure whether to try adding some or to try and stay organic
any tips and hints to get my lady to jump a bra size will be greatly received
thanks all

I've been flushing mine with 1 teaspoon (5ml) molasses per gallon (3.79L) water for the last two weeks. The buds have fattened up but how much is due to the molasses I am not sure. It doesn't hurt and it may help.

Big bud is for the first 2 weeks of flowering. They recomand using Overdrive after thous thw weeks. Also you should check Carboload, they have a good description. If it realy works (I'm using AN line), I have no clue but my guess is that it does...

I'm sure that I read something that waria said previously, that molasses help with micronutes for soil and are too complex for the plant to fully absorb and that more simple sugars can be absorbed by the plant no problem. I'll be honest, I'll be buggered if I can find that post again lol

Salutations everybody,

I picked this thread by pure random, except the title which read « Best way to fatten up my buds » and then i thought i knew for sure there would be mention of "pH". Not so! How come?...

M'well, i hope it doesn't hurt expressing surprize even if i got it wrong at some point. I could have sweared (assimilation vs) pH was in it for something.

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

I use PK 13-14, which I like. I also have Top Shooter, which I haven't tested yet.

PK booster is needed. Here is a great tube video if you want to keep it organic. I would dilute his ratio to 1/2 his ingrredients, due to the recipe being for photo period strains. Also, if you are adding molasses during flush, you will get off flavors, due to the sugar content in your plants. That is why we flush. To get all the sugars out! Most nutes are immobile, meaning they cant be taken out of the plant cells, but the sugars can. Flushing is for taking out the sugars in the plant and the salt out of the medium, so the plant can use up its own stores and finish off, which help boost the plumping at the end.
