Hay dude welcome I'm gonna go ahead and move this thread to the introductions section.

This is going to play personal favorites. It's sort of like asking what is the best flavor of ice cream or pizza topping. Everyone will have their own opinion. I like different strains for different reasons. I don't always want to just go right to sleep, and there are plenty that will lock you to the couch. But there are some moments where that is exactly what I want. Some yield more. Some taste better. Some are great for pain management. Some just bring a smile to your face.

How much a strain produces depends greatly on your setup and abilities as a grower. Some guys are just able to squeeze out more than the rest of us. There are many grow journals here to assist you finding a method that works for you and a strain that compliments that style.

Check out the strain reviews/smoke reports. You'll find a lot of information from guys who have tried the spectrum. You might be able to narrow the field down a bit some there.

I personally go for what I want to try and don't lock myself into worrying about yield.

this might help make some conclusion.....as far as yeild it changes with every grower one guy can get 8 oz out of an AKR (DANKOR SOON) and the next guy will get 150 grams it all depends on you and your skill and teqnique.....

My feeling, and I'm no expert, is that there is no best strain.

Some people will like a particular strain for their personal reasons, of course.

But what I've always done is blend strains to get a well rounded stone.

Well said. I think the idea is to continue trying new things with an open mind. That way you get to have your paws in a lot of different cookie jars. Keep the ones you like, pass on the ones that didn't make the cut.
