Thanks man. I try not to, but better to remove some than to get greedy and shade out too much.I'll start with the big leaves on well established branches. that will thin it out abit to better see what's up. after that ill let em go a bit.I'll then start to remove branches that are competing with larger branches without room to move them elsewhere. Not that you can notice but iv already pinched a couple branch sets that came in to close.
I lost one of my cuttings yesterday. I opened the dome to air out and got busey and forgot to close it back up. they all wilted to the ground. all came back but one. I should see roots in a couple days.i'll get em potted up and get some pics then.

i normally take the lumen real estate approch, but i always keep in mind i need some lower fodder leaves for mobile elements in case of lockouts etc to be honest theres not alot left to cut after considering those

heh Unless these start to flower early I'll have plenty underneath.Their ma/pa was hela stretchy.hell the cutting I seeded was 24'' tall! No I'll be embarrassed if i'm talking out my ass, but they SHOULD go another week then explode. I expect to be a touch pressed for headroom, tho i reorganised my filter-N-fan after last grow, so while I might need to remove my lenses I should have plenty of room.
I suppose though I should just wait and see what happens. this is the first run of these seeds i've done.I still don't know if these will be what i'm after anyway. thier mum was and still is the only one from the Robocrop X Crystal Meth Cross that had the Robo bud structure. All the others have been variations of the Crystal Meth. it was tasty. Strong fuel and BO with a lime twist. Easy to manicure, thinner buds but LONG! I can't wait to see what I get.I have enough of these seeds to do a few runs. I'll select the best from each grow then work those until I have something stable.I have just scored a little more room in the house but it's gonna take me time to get the shit to set it up. TBH now that I have room Switching to photos and using clones would give me the best results. but i'm hooked on these autos. generally They outperform photos if comparing both from seed.however I have found them to be wildly unstable most the time. huge variation Like you paid good money for F2 seed stock. That's why when I grew Fast buds crystal meth and 2 out of three looked just like the picture I had to keep some of their genetics.I had to save the polin tho. none of the seed set when I tried to self it. The pollen kept in the fridge till the next grow and I hit up a robocrop with it. this cross was these plants grandparents.Their mum was the one blue eyed girl in a family of shit brown eyes. holy shit i'm high and rambling again. Oh ya this is the first full run with these lights. I started the last grow under the mars 700. then when I got the parts for the rebuild I threw the 400 HPS in then I got it built and tossed in the retrofit. I think it's gonna perform fine tho like I mentioned up a bit Ill likely have to remove the lenses if they get closer than about 18'' or branches by the wall won't get enough light. TBH in such a small tent I might be better off without the lenses and let the reflective walls do their job. It's gonna take me some time to figure out. once the weather gets cool ill throw the 600W HPS in if I think moar power is required.cause I can keep everything cool in the winter.

Damn Now i'm worried I jinxed myself. Oh i'm with ya man! it took me time to realize I wasn't doing them any favors when I let things get over crowded.especially befor I started removing the bottom branch's @ week 3. I don't do that just for clones! they grow fast and look like they will be awsome. then they peter out and never get enough light to fill out.but they push and crowd other branches out! Never fear tho I try not to remove anything I damn well don't have to!! Oh ya the res has been slightly foamy.Nothing bad no smell no slime nothing bad it doesn't keep a head but the bubbles linger a tad longer than I usually like.But I paid good money for the hydroguard so I'm not gonna panic and kill it all with peroxide(My first instinct)

one more thing about the res. it actually smells wonderfully earthy. wholesome even. very happy so far.

Gonna do some work when the lights come on they look like they are starting to pop off. so thats a few days ahead of what I expected but close! one for sure and the other looks like it's goanna follow. good times . I have been in a lot of pain the last few days so I haven't done much. They are eating a lot. TBH i've sorta lost track of nutes.I added at least 45 grams more. the res is @ 900-920 ppm & 5.9ph just shy of full strength. I could bump all they way up i'm sure but i'll hold back as much as possible without slowing em down. makes it easier to add the bloombastic in a few weeks.here's a few picks during lights out

Some lights on pics. bad news for my cuttings. the cat knocked the dome off the counter where i had them. must have been that way for a day. I was just going out to pot them up. they completely dried out and look horrible. not a lot of hope for em. this cat is killing me.

I still haven't got into the tent to thin and spread out. I am in A lot of pain & bending over the screen is too much. I'm gonna dose up on some toradol tonight and get it done.I hate taking it. makes me nauseous and itch. but it should let me get some shit done.i'll post up pics. as for the res i've just been adding back full strength nutes when I top off ppm 930 PH 5.8 . I had to use some ph down & dripped a little on my shorts and burnt a hole in them like battery acid dose.Woops

Done! yay!!!! wasn't as bad as I thought. back didnt bother me to bad but the plants were a mess!! Here we go!!
