Hola gents. I tested the soil I mixed up last week. PH 7.8! Well that's Not gonna work like that! I mixed in about 10-15% peat. and have it setup to cook some more. I have a month or so. I'm going to go ahead and order some elemental sulphur. I'll need a bit next spring anyway for the veggies. Ill throw a tbls or 2 in depending on how well the peat worked.Lots of bio activity in the soil so it will begin to work within the first 2 weeks of adding it.I have Sulphuric acid on hand and could just use it. but the high levels needed would shock the piss outa the soil and micro heard and fungi i'm cultivating.I never understood people that tell new growers to start with soil before moving on to hydro. I personally think that's backwards.Hydro is easy. soil not so much.
Final weight was just over 5 O's for the little plant and just over 8 o's with the big one. I got less than 1/4 Oz popcorn off the little one and just over 2 Oz with the big one. Light is 320 Watts on paper. Not bad a little better than I thought I would do. there was a lot of popcorn. Ill be popping the new seeds within a day or so, cleaning today.
Happy holidays ! sorry thanksgiving got me behind. anyway I have 2 Fairy Frost seedlings up .2 seeds planted 2 seeds popped. Ill get pics in a few days. if you've seen one seedling you've seen em all.besides I left my camera in my sister's truck over thanksgiving. I gotta go get it back. I also took those 2 little cuttings yesterday. looks to be about 2 ounces.Not bad for cuttings under 100w. I really liked that pheno. later this month i'll be building my new box. 2x4x60 Im buying this http://timbergrowlights.com/300-watt-cree-cxb3590-linear-framework/ I had planned to build almost the same damn light but am having trouble finding parts. so screw it this looks well built and will be easy to repair/upgrade. Anyhow Ill get y'all pics later

Week 1, the little one had me a little worried to begin with.was the first to pop then just froze for a few days seems to have picked up. we will see where it is @ week 3 when it's time to start training and introduce the screen. she has plenty of time to be a kid until then.if she looks like she will be any smaller than the small plant from my last grow i'll pull her and give the good plant the box.But I think she will be fine she seems to just be a few days behind.
