Grow Mediums Bc's Hydro adventures

TBH i'm pretty gutted about the cutting. I really wanted those seeds.the other two cuttings from the little plant doing pretty good. ones only a couple weeks from finnish. funny thing is. they were both cut @ the same time. From the same plant. are in the same soil, being fed the same feed, but one is weeks ahead of the other and has had a running calcium deficiency.the other is weeks behind but looks fine.their pots are too small. I didn't expect em to branch out so much.Ill get pics next time i'm out there.

Worse part is this is the second seed run in a row lost.oh well I have a crap ton of seeds and to be honest I want to play with some of the freebies I have for abit.I need MOAR room!

Ok so I mixed up the soil for my side grow. ill let is set and combine until it's needed. the base soil was DR earth vegetable soil. Iv grown couple seasons in it and have added compost a couple times.Anyway I had a batch of green beans I had allowed to go to seed in the pot of soil I chose to use. a 7 gallon pot of beans ought to have affixed a nice batch of N already for me.Not as much as vetch or some peas but they still leave the soil better off than they found it. a very considerate plant really.anyway I removed about two gallons of soil and replaced it with some high powered compost. this is my feeder compost for my veggie garden.it's a little fresh I usually wouldn't dip into it until spring. it's made up of straw, local weeds ,cardboard, paper, powdered chicken feed, (Bottom of the bag or feeder) shrimp shells. And lots of good old fashioned chicken poop. and possibly some table scrap.?Also because I think your all awesome I'll even share the secret sauce with you today. it is solderfly castings. oh ya they eat even more,& faster than red wigglers and they come free every year. Plus they can survive the high temps of the pile. well most do, those that get cooked just become even more N. anyhow to that I have added 2 cups coffee grounds, a third of a cup dried banana peel meal,Two TBLS home ground bone meal,(chicken bones) two TBLS dolomite lime,1tsp humic blend, and a handful of fresh layers mash.all mixed WELL and wetted down.

Cuttings,
