Base Autoflower for breeding

Ok.Would you maybe use an auto of small stature then?I have some Blue Streak that I could use..(if they will germinate).I'll have to visit the forums more often it appears.I originally had thought that Grass o Matics Med Gom might be a good choice, but I decided to buy some photo seed instead.

Thx.

i would use whatever was available to me as i wouldnt be recreating the auto im using , id be trying to make an auto version of the photo strain

Hey b0b, morning.

Just wondered if you have any views on Sensi Ruderalis Indica or Skunk as a base, apparently they are autoflowering. Curiously on Sensi's website they quote the skunk version........
"Around 50% of Ruderalis Skunk plants will auto-flower. As with Ruderalis Indica, blooming starts at the 5th to 7th set of branches &ndash typically within 5-10 weeks of germination, depending on how quickly plants are able to vegetate in a given climate. The other 50% of plants grown from seed will react to photoperiod, and will be triggered to flower around the same time as strains such as Early Girl and Early Skunk.""

Just thinking if it is possible to find in that 50% of auto's some good phenos.

Any input would be appreciated as usual.

Only thing I would say is it be best to start off with something that is 100% autoflower that way you don't have to work them as much. But the decision is up to u broski.

Yes you are probably right IDS.
Just curious though why only 50% autos, seems like an unfinished/unstablized line to me.

Exactly and u don't want to breed and auto with unstable genes that's rule one. How u find what u looking for. U ever thought of taking like lowryder 2 and crossing it with another base auto, like auto#1 or short stuff#1 and creating a new base breed?

I have been trying to find the original Lowryder but no luck there. Lowryder#2 is an option. I do have some DieselRyders that are also another option. (Amongst many others).
I like Indica strains so will have to do a bit of homework on the genetics of any potential breeding auto.
I'll look into auto#1 or short stuff#1 as you mentioned as well. Thanks for the input IDS.
