What's up all. Im about to start my 2nd grow ever. 1st one i did about a yr ago and i ended up having to chop them early and i rushed the drying. . . . .lets just say it was fucked. . . .anyway im back at it again with hopes of a better result. I was using dwc ladt time with a 600w hps in a 4x4. . . Using the same 4x4 but will be using kind soil/& coco loco. Due to the hugeness/bulkyness and heaviness of my air cooled big kahuna glass hood i decided to grab a led off anazon. Bestva 1500w full spec.(i know its not 1500w actual draw). Ill be using my 7g smart pots because thats what ive got laying around. I plan to run 5 in total. 4 autos and 1 feminized photo. . . Im curious to know how to set up the filter and fan for an air exchange in the tent. Or is that even needed? Before i had it all intergrated with the light n hood. i keep reading about negative pressures(whatever that means). . . Also i was considering adding 2 cob lights in the tent. Would the extra lights help with the grow in any way? Thanks up front for any info.

negative pressure mean less air going in vs air going out. I run 4 in. in 6 in. out.

What does it do? So does that mean a need for 2 fans?

I run a 6in exhaust fan that sits outside my tent connected to a carbon filter. Air gets pulled out from the top and sucked in their the bottom. Negative pressure will suck in tent walls while positive pressure will balloon them.

You can have an active intake using an inline fan or passive intake that relies on negative pressure created by your exhaust fan.

The extra cobs would help but getting your environment ironed out is going to help more. Any reason why you think you need more light?

Damien50 could u post a pic of your set up. Ive seen other setups with a fan and filter outside of the tent. I really want to have my tent environment as close to perfect as i can.

I dont have a light meter jus yet. Im not sure if this light will be enough or maybe ita too much. . . I just like the daylight/white light look of the cob lights. . . I thought if more light would be beneficial then I would throw in a couple 3500k cobs ‍♂️
