She's 21 days old today, and still:

She's lanky and skinny and seem to not really go anywhere. But there _is_ some growth, just very very very slowly.
Not a good parent, me. I aint man enuff to be a modder, it seems.

So there you have it.
I'm a noob! ;)
It's always the way outdoor, slooooowwwww. Still a nice shade of green though, so she's healthy

Yeah, I think I have myself to thank for some of it, tbh. I know, sure, she is in no way getting 24/0, and there is quite some hours of indirect light as well, so sure, she would be slower than say, yours. But I think I overwatered her early, and I know for sure she got too much indirect light as a seedling. She might have spend a little too long in the tiny pot before transplant, and the soil from the garden might just be a wee bit too heavy. I need to lighten it up for the next girl. But yeah, she looks healthy to me, just really really really retarded. ;)

retarded!
Like him?

:funny:
Naw, man! More like well behind the curve and not catching up. Oh, right. Yeah, a bit like him, sure.
haha!
You know it might be your soil that slowing progress, next run, I'd have a look at just buying a light mix, and an all mix, from a canna company. Stick some light mix on top, all mix on the bottom. Leave the soil stuff until you have a few grows under your belt, then branch out into soils ect.

I'm not convinced I think that's bad advice, tbh. Might be perfect for lilies, but. .. ;)

Deffo, soil is the most important thing. Soil from the garden don't cut the mustard. Most 'soil' mediums are actually peat, the drainage of peat and generic garden soil are chalk and cheese. Start off in a medium thats tried and tested, then you can eliminate any issues as they come.

Right. I guess I better just open right up and admit to arrogance. That way, I shall have way fewer explanations to make.

My Perfect Lily Soil is shit for weed. That much is blatantly obvious. So I'm gonna buy some "good" dirt from a near-local vendor. An all-mix of sorts. And some seedling stuff.

It's clear (to me) that I mounted the storage box onto the pot wrong. I mean, upside down was deliberate, but I shoulda endways instead. If I hadn't bungled CupGirl the way I have, she would have had some issues with room.

On a much lighter note: Seeing as how that Fugue State hit me, I went and shopped some Mephisto Genetics. Those guys, man! :bighug: I bought 11 seeds and received 23. :woohoo1:
To quote Samuel L. Jackson: "Everybody loves free stuff!". It's funny, he knows me that well, and still gets my name wrong.

Mephisto are the tits. I see people whine about the single seed price, but use the discount code, the fact they give you 1+1, 3+2 ect, as an AFN member, and the freebies on top, it's cheap, like the budgie

then you get to smoke some Mephisto gear..........:dizzy:
