Howdy y’all
It’s day #38 for my Do Si Do and Durban Poison girls.
Last Friday DP started showing some funky leaf issues, that looked like tacoing up to me. At that time I measured the lights , I had DSD 1050.1 umol’s & DP 624.7 umol’s
Temp 74f RH 59%. I didn’t see anything crazy that could cause taco-ing so I just watched it close. At one point I was worried they were getting too dark, almost blueish/green and was thinking too much N ?
It was also feed day so I mixed up some Strive, added in a shot of Tree Trunk Silica filed the reservoirs till runoff on both plants.

PH 6.3
PPM 870
EC 1.7
We are still on a 19/5 schedule, DSD is probably getting more light than it needs on a DLI scale and DP should be close to what’s needed but I haven’t taken the time to do the math
and could be way off. I’ll do that here in a bit. Light could be getting too strong and intense as they grow.
Sunday I went in and decided to cleanup DP some , so I stripped up some of the larger fan leaves, cleaned up the bottom some to open it up and just been keeping an eye on it for any more issues. So far things are looking great. I did not trim DSD except to remove a few leaves covering my float indicator and fill pipe. I’ve had to bump up the watering Intervals due to all the new growth. I’m maintaining around 74f and 56%RH. Last couple days, I’ll probably walk down the RH some over the next week or two.
Here’s some photos since the last update.
