Off to my local grow shop later getting a 1.2mx1.2mx2.0m Tent I'm wanting to fill with all Autoseeds Strains they've temped me with a decent price on a HPS Lamp with Digital Ballast but I'd rather go LED Mars to be precise been looking at the 480watt version. Would this be enough for 4/5 autos I'm not clued up enough on LED.

As a long-time grower CMH seems to be the most effective growing light. Most effective in growing most economical to use and right now the prices are very good.
You can get into a good CMH light and hood and bulb for about a hundred fifty bucks[emoji482]

We aren't getting any particular reports of Hijack not popping at our end, but that could just mean people are't telling us as they are frees. It shouldn't be a problem though as we have quite a few growers on it at the moment after Cannafest in Prague, all of theirs have popped so far as we can tell.

Go LED its the safest, longest lasting, lowest energy using form of lighting. Do ypu plan on using a panel style or cob led? Id go for two lights for coverage over one more powerful light. I like Roleadro LED I have a bunch of them and they perform just as well as my more exspensive lights. Id go two of their full spectrum 400watt 2nd gen COB leds for 5 plants but one would work for now. You pay more up front for LED but you save down the road. Their 300w and 600w panel leds work great as well thats what I started with and they never did me wrong.

Thanks I know man I've been growing for a long time LEDs are good but they're way too expensive for what you get right now when they come down in price . Then it makes it more worthwhile for the low man grower to use and they're fine to use but otherwise CMH is the way to go right now for the money I haven't anything better I found and I've done tossed my pennies around. So yeah this is the best selection so far for me I'm not going to spend 400 600 or even $1,500 for a a really good LED lighting that's only going to cover 4 to 6 square feet. My CMH covers that for a hundred sixty bucks and the bulb will last 20000 hours it's a no-brainer to me. Just my two cents worth though what do I know I don't grow for a living LOL

Same. My Chemdog test was done under cmh and i pulled more than they advertised after locking out my calmag for half the grow. And i change my bulb at 6 months when i change my carbon filter

For bigger grows CMH is the way to go but heat is also a concern and You need to switch bulbs not to mention you cant dim them and LED gives you better spectrum and no need to change bulbs. You can build a COB with a little bit of effort and research. The componets are cheap. These companies like Mars hydro and others are ripping people off theres pros and cons with both I use LED but know a lot of guys that use CMH and swear by it so to each his own.

Just took Sweet CBD down from drying trimmed off all the stems etc came in at just over an Oz, which for 55 days under a 450watt CFL is pretty damn sweet. Didn't help that I was dibbing in and fast drying [emoji848]
