You test the ph of the solution you soak the beans in? What kind of water do you use to soak in? RO tap or bottle?

This is my secret method works every time, I got 100% germ rate : I sterilize every peace of tools with boiling water (glass,syringe,paper,container......).Rockwool in freezer for 24h to kill organic in it if present....

I take source water (it is bottle water but I know from what source it was taken (here in my county) 23-26c. It is not just bottle water with addition of cal/mag and other stuff they add to RO water to sell it afterwards. Also it is 6-ph from the bottle and I add a drop of citron juice than 1 drop of rizo and one drop of superthrive (I use tiny drops). Same mix I use for papertowell and same to soak the rockwool cubes. Ph I aim is 5.8+-0.2. Soak beans for 5-12 hours, sometimes I touch the beeans to see if the will go to the bottem of the glass (I never use plastic as container to soak and the glass should be proper no detergent on it, I use same glass every time). Touching beans with fingers no tweezers (only my shaking hands). Soaking and papertowell in complete darkness and temp 23-26 and after placing in rockwool, couple of hours in darkness and then in light 20/4.

This is my recept and to be honest I never tried another way (why if it works 100% every time). And actually seeds should contain everything they need and they should grow by them selfs without any methods....

If you use tapwater it should be dechlorinated before use. Ro water I would not advice to use.

Ko ...thats sticky worthy mate !!!. I have 1 dinafem cheese & some bag seed to practice with until i get some more,will try your method .

Im in the process of moving as well lol. so maybe a couple weeks once thats done & not boxes in stuff in the way ect ...& the mammoth done i can do a better job !

I don't pH my soaking water at all... In fact I don't add anything to it (well sometimes I'll add a little Rhizo) plain bubbled tap water.. In go the beans..

Now I'm now using these Root !t cubes for these soil grows but in DWC I'd soak my 1" rock wool cubes in a L of bubbled & 4ml of Rhizotonic.. A gentle squeeze & in to the cubes into airtight container beside warmth... Boom!!

Don't squeeze cubes but shake it once like old thermometer before use.

all is not lost ....there is movement in the rockwool ! .... now placed in net pots.... tap root has just shown( bottom of 1"cube & not net pot) ... making handfeed rhizo now .... all jammed in ds60 !!!.will report back wjen know more
