i get a white layer on top the soil from the salts in the nutes it could be that iv only ever seen green algae on coco but i havnt used it myself just seen other peoples so i cant tell ya for sure

Yeah i normaly gets salt build-up in the top of the soil when i handwater. Its like a 1-2cm layer of little stronger mass. The green algea was in the tray in my autopot, had not clean it since i started, 50 days? I think it should be clean more often, every two-three weeks or so. It was/is a very thin white layer just in top of the coco. Ill have it under control to seethat it doesn't turn in to something nasty.

She is BIG. And she's looking healthy aswell. Can't understand why, and again, why I didn't try coco sooner... it's crazy. Doing soil for 3-4 years and hand-watered them every day. NEVER again

She's drinking 5 liters a day with an EC of 2.2.
How much could she yeild as I never had a plant like This?

them grow. that thing would catch fire in my tent tho lol. bet your glad you made the jump from soil aswell eh! i done coco my first run but didnt know about auto pots so was handwatering. absolutely hated it. thats my main reason for hydro, im lazy as f+*^ lol. first 5/6 weeks i can just feed once a week with 1 ph adjustment in the middle. dont think ive had to touch them up for about 10 days now actually but its res day today..... so im off out for silicone so i can connect a couple pipes and just pump the res from my attic straight into the toilet, happy days : ) dont know how it took me 5 months to figure that one out haha. gonna go have a peek at your other one now so ill see you shortly bud.

Yeah, at that stage i was very happy, but you can see that she has smaller light-burns on that photo, i tought it was cal/mag ( light-stress can show up like that, you know it). But no, it was to much light/heat from the bulbs. I upped to 2.2ec but i should have moved the lights instead. Im now down to 1.85 and have moved the lights more far away from each other. She got light-burned on top leafs. Now its under control but the damaged leafs will not get healthy again. Lucky she got alot of them. But shes okey, its the time when shes not moving and just putting all the energy to make flowers. But in a few weeks i will probably smile again when she cover her scars with her buds.

Hydro. Yes i will try 2 buckets my next run next to the autopots. Alien 55 liter bubbbler its looking like for now..It could be good if its done right.
Haha, thats nice - straight out the toilet. Ive got a sink on the floor, so changing bucket for me will go easy, if they even survive for a res-change. You are more then welcome to give me a hand when doing buckets.

Yes she's on her way. Little slow now in the beginning of the budface. I'm hoping for 400gr, but let's see...
Found these in the tray, think they are Okey, or I hope so, they look like springtails but I'm not sure. They are only in the tray so I'm not to worried...

I have fucked up. It's the third time I forget to open the tap after cleaning the tank and refill.. but this time I left it O for over 36 hours. I tought she looked hungry yesterday so I raised the nutes, today she had eaten so many leafs I know something was wrong. Checked the water PH, checked EC... looked if the hose was blocked... im so stupid, it was the tap. The f-ing tap... I will write BIG notes in neon for future grows to "Open tap!". I'm just shaking my head.....

could have been worse she shud come back no .reminds me of my buddy who had 9 big bud clones 6 weeks into flower in a hydro system left the tap closed walked away for 4 or 5 days came back to crispy mess he said he actully cried i tell you one thing he hasnt left it closed once since then well not that he has admitted to lol

Yeah that's the way to learn thing. Or that's the way I like to learn. Pain or loose of something expensive, i would have cried aswell if i had all my girls connected by a tank.... i tought about it yesterday, what if i forget the tank next time when everyone is in autopots? Then im fucked. Haha.
