New Grower Autoflower Training techniques

I find with all cannabis plants that defoliation and making cuts to the body and tying stems down increases bud sites and bigger buds...

Personally I do not enjoy looking at a natural grown cannabis plant...I like gnarly plants that have put through the ringer..cut on, tied down, twisted, safety pins squishing the branches...all of it!!

I top at the third generally...

Hi everyone,

I have been here for a little while, but hardly haven't posted anything yet.

I am slightly confused while reading divided opinions about autoflower Training and after initial searching haven't found anything to cheer me up, hence posting this post.

I saw one brave guy years ago posted such article, but he isn't here anymore as tried to pm him.

I am running perpetual grow of few autos, begging was really tuff as used uk tap water, nightmare.
Since got reverse osmosis now all goes fine, but not really educated still in plants training methods. I did some lst, topping etc.
Wondering what is right to be applied to autos and what is not.
Would be worth having a topic full of creative opinions and guidance.
I did some heavy defoliation to my 3rd week veg sour diesel and after 2 days see him back on the track with new leaves. Here i would admit as did it in way of curiosity, not too sure if this doesn't cause grow to slow down?
I would appreciate, so probably the most of not-completly educated growers what would be the right way to deal with plants.
Glad to see opinions from both sides - do's and don't s.
Many thanks.

It seems to be a grey area ,then i read some of autobeasts techniques and as my plants had serious issues i though fck it....got my growroom sorted and dialled and set about abuseing the plants....bit of s and m domination lol.....tied the bitches down fckd about with their limbs and there was some namecalling ....3 days later with the room working as it should ,ph sorted ,temp and humidity stable they are flowering and in serious turbo boost ......no wonder its called weed hardy little fckrs

I got several methods applied to my plants and for now noticed as heavy defoliation makes branches really thick, plus additional pinching, but my way is rolling stems in between my fingers, not to damage or squeeze.
Lst application, not too sure, same as topping, here actually i can see multiple colas, 8 of these after topping, but considering it as stunted grow in comparison to some of your grow journals.

Got three plants not modified by any way, and they grow quickest..actually they are 60days autos, this cannot be any good to use as a compare.

I tried some techniques, but I found out that autos really don't like anything. Just let them grow.

Current grow I try to remove all grow on stems except last preflowers. Look at my signature.
Also, no matter how I LST them, dominant cola is still the bigger one, no matter how I turn/set light. Tried to lower colas have more light than dominant cola.. but still didn't catch dominant one.

If you keep on top of tying down the main untill the lower branches have caught up it may give a more even spread of budsize. In the future.

Okay, after reviewing pictures of my plants from past 2 months can admit - topping is worth doing, fimming same, lst also, foliar spray with kelp and epsom does wonders, defoliation is under question mark still, as might have stunted grow, however branches are getting thickness within. I have also tried pinching but in soft way, as i do roll stems in between my fingers daily.
