Autoflower born with coty's ripped off

I have a fastbuds west coast og auto that sprouted yesterday... It looked like it was growing upside down(root tip up), but I found seed shell with cotys still in it right below surface of coco.... Under loupe I can see stem has 2 very small serrated leaves.... Just wondering would it forever be stunted, or are cotys not that important if using nutes????

I had one do that recently. It died.

I'm currently dealing with a similar situation. The cotyledons came out with the first 50% of them pure white. They Cotyledons died 24 hours later leaving it looking the same as yours. At around day 15 it finally started to grow like normal. Here it is at day 20.. Hopefully it doesn't auto anytime soon.

Keep us updated how yours turns out .. I sometimes wonder if they auto because of a internal ticking clock or because they reach a certain point of maturity in their development.
