Ok thanks I’ll test both tonight and post the resultsYou have to test how much dissolved solids are in the water (ppm) from each before anyone can answer...

Would be helpful if you knew the pH of both, especially your well water. You probably don’t know this but knowing what chemicals your towns water supply uses would be interesting too. Some list them on their website, but can also be obtained by calling and asking. I like to stay away from any city water that uses chloramines as it does not evaporate like chlorine, but needs to have something added to it to counteract it.Ok thanks I’ll test both tonight and post the results
Barring any extreme ph swings, I wouldHey guys my ph meter is still doing it’s 24 hour pre soak I will get that tmr morning but I’ve measured the ppm

Can’t find anything on the towns website about what they add but you can definitely smell chlorine from it
Mephisto GeneticsBarring any extreme ph swings, I would
say the town water is best. The goal is for your water to be a clean slate upon which you can add whatever nutrients you want.
That being said, to best utilize the town water, get yourself an air pump and stone and bubble the water for a day before you use it. It will help dissipate the chlorine.
This is without any other information...
Also it is entirely possible that a vet will come around and tell me I am wrong, but this is how it is to the best of my understanding.
What kind of op do you have? What kind of nutrients? Size pots? Size tent? Medium?

H202 aka hydrogen peroxide removes chlorine from tap easily, read up on it. If you google your local water company they will have a water quality report. My tap is 150 ppm but I use reverse osmosis water filtration system to remove chlorine in my water. My ro system filters my tap to 0ppm. Then I start with armor si, then calimagic, then my base nutes then hydroguard and soon I'll be testing out real growers recharge for bennies. It's on its way from Amazon in a few days.Hey guys my ph meter is still doing it’s 24 hour pre soak I will get that tmr morning but I’ve measured the ppm

Thanks @BigSm0 i just checked the hardware store They have a filter for RVs that’s hooks right up to a garden hose I’m gonna go check it outI’d install a charcoal filter. You can get them for under $50, housing, filter and fittings. I have mine rigged up to a garden hose.
