Dutch Passion AutoBlueberry/AutoGlueberry O.G in Airpots under 200w LED

I think the girls do get adolescent fans at the bottom that die off once full bloom commences, usually fans further up the stem will then yellow off and die gradually, this is perfectly normal and should not be counter acted with additional N.
could this be done by raising the base nutes alone or would you have to get a nitrogen suppliment

At 60+ days.. That is the type of yellowing that you want to see. It means the pant is using all of its stored resources to make bud. It starts with the oldest (lower) leaves and pulls from them first, then works it way upward. I made the mistake of trying to counter it and add more N late into flower.. Ended up with airy buds. The yellowing you have is natural, and is a good sign this late... Remember, autos have a life span.. Your plants are in the very last weeks of their lives.. Leaves should be yellowing and dying. The plant is pulling all of the N from the leaves to make buds, before it dies. Looks great to me!

Afternoon chaps,

I chopped my Blueberry a few days ago and the buds are not very dense at all, they are quite loose and airy, especially towards the bottom of the plant. I am a bit gutted to be honest, she took me well over 100 days. The buds themselves look nice and frosty there is just nothing to them. What is likely to be the cause of this and how can I prevent it happening again?

Could the issue be lack of light? My last grow was only 2 plants and I didn't encounter this problem, I currently have 4 plants in my tent, maybe too much for a 200w LED panel? (Which is coming up to its 4th birthday...only been in use since October 2016)

Don't have final weight yet, as buds are still drying.

shes a nice colourfull girl.:pass:
i had the odd plant go 100 days.maybe 4 under a 4year old light could be pushing it just a bit.
:pighug:

Maybe try different genetics, dp you'd think would be sound but they do get mixed reviews. Try mephisto, not seen many complaints, and i can testify to growing some fat buds from one of their stains. And yeah 2 girls not 4 under that light Like Arch says.

Blueberry genetics have earned a decent reputation in most peoples eyes.

Often light intensity can be a factor in low density buds. But I hope there is a decent smoke quality to her, good luck

BTW Tony, I'm no hater of DP and have recently purchased White Widow and Brooklyn Sunrise direct from your website, and am looking forward to running a grow on here. :karmacloud:

But I currently have only had a positive experience using mephisto, and have not run a DP girl yet.

That's too bad that you're not happy with the results you achieved in this grow. Looking back, if you are still running just that one 200 watt LED then I would say that is your problem with the Fluffy buds. I would say that you need about 400 actual watts of LED power in a good, expensive, brand LED.

This is all just part of the learning process and it'll all still smoke just as well.

Final weight off the Blueberry was 55g.

Overall I am happy with her and how the grow went and have no doubts on the quality of genetics from DP! I've got some nice solid nugs from her as you can see, just not as much as I yeilded from the brooklyn sunrise or colorado cookies. I am at fault for having too much in my tent though, a rookie error! Especially as my AutoGlueberry O.G is a monster!

AutoGlueberry was 95days when this pic was taken, she is now 103days and ready for the chop. She has been getting nothing but tap water for the last week, will harvest her on Tuesday. Dreading the trimming!

My 2 AutoBlackberry kush coming along nicely on day 64. Not expecting any bumper yeilds but they both smell amazing. For UK peeps smells like blackcurrant chewits cross rubicon mango!

Hope everyone here is good and your gardens are well. Peace :)
