Hi there,

This is my first grow.

I built a stealthy dresser grow box to keep in the garage. There are about 200w of various temp CFLs. My soil was mostly vermicompost that i made myself, with some regular compost added in. I germinated 1 auto WW seed from ILGM, 24 hours in water and then straight in the soil (about 3 gallons).

My lights have been on 24/0 since the seed went in the soil.

Temps have been an issue, as i've experimented to try to find a good balance, in my unheated garage in winter. They haven't gone too far out of the extreme, probably min was 60 and max was 85. I was usually able to keep about 70-75 the entire grow.

I used Alaska brand Fish emulsion for veg and ALaska brand Morbloom for bloom. I also used a bit of molasses, but not much.

I have been keeping an eye on the tricomes to see when they turn amber, and I noticed maybe 1% amber last week. That is when I stopped nutes, using only pure water.

Today is day 90 and I looked at the "main" cola, and it is about 70% amber, but the buds that followed it are only about 5-10%.

I think I will chop next week. What do you guys think?

PS: I have LST'd the snot out of her, as you'll be able to see. I also defoliated a bit last week because it was just so crowded in the box. Some buds are pressed up against the other wall getting a smashed flat side. Since it was so LST, there are about 30 colas that are 4-5". The last pic is of the "main" but it pretty much looks the same as the rest.

I'm a rookie, but from what I can see, it looks like a lot of wt. for 200 watts !
Not to mention a beautiful plant :)

I started with hydro, (in week 5) so I can't compare, but one thing I've noticed on AFN is that AF's sure like dirt !

Wow dude! Awesome results right out of the gate!! Keep posting some pics and we can help with when to harvest. It looks like it could be very soon. One important thing, and you'll see this as you grow, that not all autos, in fact not many, will make a truly noticeable amount of amber trichomes... Especially unless additional UV-B lamps are used. So you have to use other techniques to know when to harvest. Mainly, it's looking at a combination of leaves and pistils, and how the whole plant generally looks but that eye can take some time to develop. I'm still working on it myself. There's some important and valuable sticky topics in the Harvesting section of the forum :) Excellent work again!

Btw is that a Dutch Passion AWW? It does kinda look like it.
Edit oh never mind, I see it's ILGM. I had a pretty yummy Blueberry from there.

I got the better camera to snap a couple pics. I didn't realize how bad the tablet pics were.33-1.jpg33-2.jpg33-3.jpg33-4.jpg33-5.jpg

Excellent job!

WW is my favorite strain (so far).

Very nice indeed

All I want is a Fat Blonde...lol...I'm impressed...

Great Job...

Thanks:peace:

Great job, the plant looks awesome. Regarding your harvest question you may want to think about harvesting the main colas first and give the rest of the plant another week or so to finish
