and that is actual draw 1000 watts right?

the p1200 draws 690 watts at full power and the p9-xml2 draws 555 watts. Probably need a combination of fixtures to get a total input wattage of 1000 watts for the 1w per gram goal.
 
i have one question Tom. BTW thaks for your time here again today :D but I have heard many state LED's dont pull stuffs from the plant/soil,yet I have a lesser brand of LED and its gotten weaker over time and all the lights seem to work and I also run T5's.. and compared them since allof the plants were on the same regime mostly. but the LED's were running significantly yellower ,and even boosted the calmag and some teas too.still was stressing them yellow. was wondering what causes this in some LED's.. Excellent question and along the same lines as my next....Tom during the testing of your panels have the LED/chips shown any loss of efficiency and at what stages/hours,and is this covered by the warranty???

Are Platinum Led looking in to using COBs and what's your take on phosphor coated LEDs?

I've have a bit of experience testing COB LED's in the past. Great output with a very full spectrum. Here is the spectrum test I did in a past life on a new COB LED panel currently on the market:

While COB can grow plants, with all of the energy wasted in the green spectrum they aren’t necessarily the most efficient. White LEDs only produce 40% of usable light and the rest is wasted in power consumption and heat. I believe mixing LED diodes that target the nanometer (nm) ranges plants love, is the most effective and efficient way to grow plants. COB's can be effective if they are used sparingly as supplemental lighting within an LED panel or specifically for seedling and clone development.
