Arty, do you think it us necessary to have lenses or reflector on the cree 3590? Im starting a build and have been looking at them. Only for 2 plants in a 4x4 tent

In my micro grow height is so limited reflectors are not needed but i would use them for a build like yours, the Ledil Angelina have a 90 degree spread,( i believe) and puts the light where it is needed.You could use lenses but they will filter a certain amount of photons, they are also heavy and expensive when compared to reflectors which are now the popular and go to choice.

Oh snap I just thought of a question that I had before I got on the CMH kick, @arty zan it is commonly accepted(I think) that @GrowNorthern has some of if not the best led's on the market. The Holographic series uses holographic diffusers, could one theoretically get some Holographic diffusing film and somehow fashion it to any old LED to make it a super GN type LED?
