Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

I'm back Autobeast. I'm running biobizz light mix soil with Mega Crop nutes. Gave up deep water culture hydro after my lung collapsed last year. I didnt go with AN like you use. I want to try Greenleaf Nutrients Mega Crop with it to see what I can do. First soil grow. Got rid of 1000 watt old school magnetic ballast and rocking with a new tent and a new crew cob 2000 w led light. Pics and journal coming soon.

Wow sorry to hear about your lung . Did that have something to do with changing grow styles? I know I had to quit soil grows because I cannot lift the pots of soil with my bad back. I am hydro now so pumps do all of the heavy lifting.

I had blebs on both lungs. Blebs are air sacks that develop on some ppls lungs like mine. Not sure why. But when blebs pop air surround the lung and causes it to collapse. I gave up hydro cuz I couldn't lift much after. I had it happen a 2nd time months later then. Then back in Feb of this year I went to get surgery on my left lung which was the lung that collapsed twice. I have blebs on my right lung too and need surgery to remove them but with coronavirus it's been postponed. This is my first soil grow. I used to grow single 5 gallon buckets in dwc with GH air pumps. Had a ro system upstairs and grew in basement. Carrying buckets down stairs was too much. Couldnt do the weight. I'm so excited for my 1st soil grow. Dwc was fun and neat to learn but wish I started in soil.

I think DWC teaches you about nutrient balance and that transports well to soil. Just do corrections in smaller slower amounts. Where you see results in hydro in hours it is days in soil. I cannot lift a 5 gallon bucket of water without crying like a baby. Gravity and pumps all the way.

Thanks for the tips! Thats me almost another 2 weeks on, better lights on the way but in the meantime looks like the plant is doing well!

With any luck might be able to have a not totally crap first harvest in 3-4 weeks.

Update on this. Its been over 2 more weeks and not sure it's making much progress.

Any opinions on whether I give this another few weeks or call it quits on this and move onto the next?

I only see more frost, but small amount of bud. I say cut your losses, but put the frosty stuff in the freezer.
Hopefully your new light will work on the next run.

Just cut down and freeze the frosty bits. You can keep them for a good while to accumulate a nice size to process later.
