Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

I will be experimenting with manifolding on this Linda Fat Blueberry Auto. 12 days old, just waiting for the fifth node.

I don't defoliate until flower other than the occasional broken petiole while leaf tucking. IMO the veg state needs all the solar cells it can get to grow and set cola sites. Once in early flower the LST canopy is pretty even and I take only select fan leaves that are covering cola sites. At this point I am still tucking. Only in stretch do I begin taking any leaves of any significant amount. Never more than 5-10% in a day. I always leave a few days for plant recovery between any significant defoliation.
Defoliation is still a big issue for me. It seems i always start too late because i don't want to stress the girls on veg or early flower.

I had to do a bunch of defol in veg and early flower - plants just became way too bushy after training them out. One moreso by a long shot than the others, too, and it did slow that one down a tiny bit but none of them seemed really affected by it.

This thread was invaluable on my first grow.

Here's a group shot:

Three mainlines (GH Gelato photo) and one quadline (Linda Fat Blueberry Auto). Jumping into the deep end in my second grow.
