Auto topping thread,pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see.also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd

Day 24 from Sprout, tried to give them a top from the advice of @autobeast and everyone here! Unfortunately I definitely Failed and Fimmed instead, oh well, lesson learned. They both seemed to recover well, and we'll see how this goes!

Wow dude, these girls look amazing! Hell of a job, guess it goes to show how tough these plants are. Would you try to do that again intentionally? You think the results are directly related?

So the one was busted off as I said the other one was not topped. They are one month apart exactly. The younger topped/busted one will be as big as the untopped one in the next 2 or 3 days. She grew 1.5" yesterday. I think it depends on how vigorous the plant is. And how quickly they enter flower. It seems to me that a plant that takes more than 30 days to flower is the best for topping.

I would think growing out a strain to check its timing etc may be smart. I've had a plant show sex in 21 days. Those may not be good candidates. Of course you can always top them and decide you won't next time. If I top an auto on purpose it is usually just a feel kinda thing

Could i ask (its probably been asked many times before but its a long thread...) - when you say wait till you have 4 nodes, do you then cut the new growth above the 4th node or do you cut the new growth AND the 4th node, so you have 3 nodes left. i thought the former but in one of your grow diaries the photo looked like the latter. or is it different again? cheers (and happy growing)

The girl on the left is 30 days older and she is, by auto standards, a large plant. The girl on the left is the one I busted the top 3 nodes of if her when she had 4 nodes. So....
