Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

How much of each product into the mixture?

Or does it say on the containers? (newb here)

I have a 4x8 tent that's 7' tall.

480 watt Kingbright light on one side and 4 QB96 lights with a driver that gives them 150 watts each.

Total of 480 watts on one side and 600 watts on the other. I want to do two auto's under each light.

I just need a good soil mixture. I will order all of these items in the picture, I just wasn't sure what the mix should be exactly

I have an infinity T6 fan/filter to help keep scent down. Fans for the plants etc...I've been following this thread and signed up because of it!
:welcome: It is very good that you have found AFN. There are countless way to grow and you could not have picked a better teacher. Enjoy. Take a lot of time reading and then read some more.

Day 24 from Sprout, tried to give them a top from the advice of @autobeast and everyone here! Unfortunately I definitely Failed and Fimmed instead, oh well, lesson learned. They both seemed to recover well, and we'll see how this goes!

I dont see a fail. She is bushy and healthy. Just keep trai ing her. I bet you end up with 30 colas.

Thank you! Yeah, I have been, trying to leaf tuck as well, its a pain in the butt though cause they always seem to end up back in the same spot!
They do. I gently bend the petiols working from the end at the leaf to the stem. I can usually train the petiole so that it stays down. Once in a while I break a leaf off. I figure it was meant to be and happily accept it. In my earlier post I show a 40 cola plant that I accidentally busted off the top 3 nodes of a 4 node plant.

You should never top an autoflower!!!

Ok. Got it.

This is a Zkittles from FastBuds.
Her name is Zoe and she germinated on 4/11.
She was 4 nodes tall when I leaned over her and busted her top 3 nodes clean off. She has 40+/- fantastic cola sites. She may end up being the heaviest producer I've ever grown. Granted I have only had Autos produce 5, 6, 7 Oz of quality top bud to date.
And her sister Monkey Girl who is a Gorilla Glue is going to give her a run for her money. Monkey Girl is the 2nd photo.

Wow dude, these girls look amazing! Hell of a job, guess it goes to show how tough these plants are. Would you try to do that again intentionally? You think the results are directly related?
