Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

Thanks for replies, I have another seedling going that looks leggy as well, I'm going to try and add more soil to pot to add support.

It's weird because I followed manufacturer light distances and when I added second light initially the top leaves were cupping.

Am I going to likely have very low yields? I was really hoping for a ounce dry.

Dont freak out. You are going to be fine. You already have 9 main cola sites. In a week you may have close to double that. You do not know her genetics. she may stack 10 or 12 colas 14" tall and 3" thick. Give you a half pound. Way too early. She is just getting up to speed.

U got a picture of ur setup and lights mate;)happy growing;)

How far are the lights from the top of that plant?

They draw 100 watts each, more info here where I got it. Amazon product

I think they are around 24" now. When I tried having both lights on the other day the top leaves were cupping pretty bad and when I turned off the 2nd light it got better. But as of yesterday they have both been on.

Plants will adapt(to an extent) to changes like more light. I'm not the light expert by any means so I'll bow out of the light discussion. The doubling of light should help with node spacing I would think.

Keep both ur lights on hang them abit higher .ur leafs will tell u if the lights are to low.keep raising till u find the sweet spot.and lower ur fan so its inbetween the light and plant canopy.will.help them take the lights better, keep them breezy;)happy growing;)
