Looks like it could be a little heat stress other than that she's looking ok.

Well today is the last day under the 400w hps she'll be put under her permenant 250w cfl tomorrow the temps at the moment are around the 27ish mark which is very high I feel because there's low humdity but hopefully that will drop to around 24 or 26 with the cfl...

They're cheap and work fine, for a while, and are better than none at all. It might work through this grow's full cycle, and the next three, or it might not work anymore after two months. That's the deal with those cheap ones. You'll be happier spending a few bucks more now and having one that works good and is reliable, that also measures and compensates for temperature, than having that one go bad on you in the middle of your plant's life. :2cents:

Wahey :booya:got my new 250w CFL she's pretty huge but has already brought the temps in the closet back down to 24C need to start working on the humidity now have it up to 55% I've been spraying her regularly...So here's the new pic's of the new light will be getting all the materials to box the grow space off during the weekend and I have to order a new extraction fan on ebay. I have the light about 4.5 inches away from the top of the lil one is that too close? should I back it off? Anyways thanks for checking this out dude :peace:

looking good man, wish my temps were 24 with a CFL, supposed to be able to put the CFL like an inch or 2 above the plant, mines about 4 inches above at the mo but hope I can put it lower wen I get the extractor fan in later.
Good luck and happy growing. :toke:

You can get the smaller bulbs in really close, like 23 w or 40 w, but not the big ones. They're too hot to get in that close on the seedlings. When the rapid growth stops later on and they're just flowering like mad and the plants are a little tougher you can keep the big lights close too. But for now you're looking good Resin. Watch that she don't reach up in there and burn herself when she takes off. Once she steps on the gas you'll be raising that light twice a day.
Good times on the way!

Thanks for the reply noods its really good to have you on board with this one really appreciate it. I have kept her at the same height but the ST has shot up already in the last few hours gave her a watering with .8ml of root juice. She's grown by half and inch easily. I have been misting her lightly with ph'd water and she is looking very healthy indeed absolutly loving the new light. I'm looking forward to the growth spurt my favourite time of the cycle..Talk to you soon Noods.
