Today is day 82 in the life of this beautiful plant, miss Ultra Lemon Haze. Autoseeds did a fine job, as far as I'm concerned!
She's going into her final few weeks. Technic, I'm still a noob, since it's only my second grow ever, but I feel like I already know what I'm doing, for the most part. There's just the thing of timing harvest...
I trying out
@Muddy 's guide about not necessarily watching for trichomes ambering up, but waiting for the leaves in the buds to get yellow and then harvest. Before these bud leaves start to turn yellow the (large) fan leaves will yellow first. The whole process from large fan leaves to harvest should take about three weeks. The final two weeks in soil I am to stop feeding and give just plain ph'd water.
I have been removing some large and smaller yellow fan leaves since about last Wednesday.
As you can see on the picture, the yellowing is visible on the remaining leaves. I did give her another shot of nutrients last evening (morning for her, lights go on at night) and will continue to do so until I am really convinced there's only two weeks to ten days left. Ten days is the minimal amount of days to flush in soil.
I also am of the opinion that the trichomes aren't developed enough to discontinue the nutes. I checked some buds.
She's about 58 cm wide.
All main branches look sort of like this.
Some mild nutrient burn on the tips, but she's coping well.
Since there's no amber whatsoever, I keep following Muddy's guideline. My guess is this could even go for another three weeks. I'm determined to wait as long as possible. Any suggestions are welcome.
Finally, a small video. Yield is going to be great!
