I do a sort of staple SCROG, flattening the branches out horizontal. Then a mass defoliation as bloom starts.

Thats really cool! I do something kinda similar but i use ties instead of staples. Edit: i also do regular scrog

So i gave the gurls a little LST love! Tucked any leaves that were blocking branches and i think they came out alright! They were watered again with plain Dechlorinated/Dechloriminated water except for the seedling which got distilled water still!

Re-tied the tops down and did some necessary defoliation, girls are doing great! Fed them their first fertigation at about 25% with a little silica via Botanicare Silica Blast at 25%. Ph’d at 6.0 the GDP is definitely getting the biggest in both examples, the PM is super tight noded and bushy as hell but i think i can coax some size out of her, as for the mutant shes going but shes got some catching up to do, at this point im fairly sure shell be worth keeping as shes growing out of her funk very quickly!

4 weeks on the Grandaddy Purples

The Permanent Marker is 5 nodes now, and finally showing symmetrical true leaves. Still only 3" tall.

The Bruce Banner are just about ready to start showing pistils. Also at 4 weeks.

They took great to their first feeding so they got another today! They are really taking off now and finally showing preflowers on the GDP! They got another defoliation as they really need it in there all packed like that! The room smells great! I am really impressed with the GDP so far, fast, vigorous, resilient! Cant wait to see the flowers! Also the PM is absolutely bushy as hell, some of the tightest nodes on a plant ive seen in a while!

Day 23 for these. They are also doing great. This was yesterday . Glad I left the permanent marker. Its starting to really take off now. There all filling in there 3 gal pots will be soon switching over to the self watering bases. There about ready and no sex on any of them yet.

Im not going to top any of these. I been having some bad luck topping. And been just letting them go naturally. Trimming lower nodes that wont be of anything and some lower bud sites on the lower part of the plant that would be larf. If they get to tall I will super crop as needed. And trim leaves if needed and I will pull some branches out to get light in if it grows really tight. Trying to stress them as little as possible. Be cool to see them more naturally grown compared to the training you guys are doing.
