Auto Seeds Auto Seeds 2025 Grow Show.

Your assumption is correct! With proper watering, naturally.
Self watering bases. They water them selfs. Takes some of my human error out of it. So far Im loving them. And the plants are too. I been giving them a 2 day dry out period not sure if its needed. And they didnt seem to happy the last time I did it. Think Im going to just do one day see what its like then do fill when empty see what thats like and I need more air flow down low with the pots wet like all the time mold and mildew are coming in play. Got some stuff coming for that and will get out another fan. Lots to learn with new grow styles but same old pot and soil can get boring I had to add some verity to the mix. And wanted to see if I could get bigger plants using theses bases. Might try a one gal and a three gal next round same strain same soil just different pot size and see what the difference might be.

Day43 New
Buds are stacking!!! The PM is taking a little longer to start stacking but is just finishing up stretch so its understandable. The Mutant PM is now taller than the GDP and is branchy as all hell, had to lose some suckers and lowers. Got some color change going on with all the gurls! Added another light so the girls that are stretching dont get left in the dark! Its actually helping the humidity and my temps and rh are dialed now! 84f 46%rh! All the taller plants are on the left now and works its way down from there.

There is a noticeable difference between 3 and 2 or 1 gal. But I bet from a 3 to 5 there wouldnt be so much. Kinda like 2 and 1 gal not much difference there. And of course genetics and environment play a big roll. I dont really want huge plants hence smaller pots. My goal has always try get an oz per gal of soil. I used to have no problem getting close to that. But since I moved my grow to a garage and the environment has been less then ideal im lucky to get a zip per plant period. No matter the size of the pot. So I plant more. This really has been an fun grow and show comparing the grow styles and pot size. Feel like Im learning alot. I always just finally after 4 years feel like its coming easier and Im less worried. They will grow some will stunt some will blow your mind in the end its about quality for me. I want the best not the most.
Your goal for 1 oz per gallon is very achievable with good environmental conditions, proper watering techniques and solid genetics when growing organically. I don't grow with salts but I would imagine results could be more because of precise feedings. I should be more specific and say that I got 9.5 oz for each of the two that I grew in separate 10 gal pots last run. I would dig growing more plants smaller in size but the watering frequency just doesn't work for my lifestyle. Also I do enjoy shaping them to my liking.

Day 44 for these girls damn they are growing like crazy. Gelato is shorter but has a massive stem on her and her branches are tree branches massive for me anyway. Pulled her off the try and the whole bottom of the pot was roots. Might not let them dry out anymore and might just leave them on the bases from now on. Did some light training on durban her branches where stacking right on top of each other so moved some to the side get more light in. Other then that pm is still kicking ass second tallest in the tent. Just waiting on stretch to be over so I can see some trich and buds forming. Moved the light up and added another fan to get more air flow down low.

I like the verity. And my area is small. So I plant one or two plants every sunday depending for a perpetual grow. Its not perfect but as long as most the plants survive or germ im harvesting one every 2 weeks minimum sometimes its 3 in a week or a stunted plant so I pull it and I catch up by planting the 2 on sunday. Once Im caught up one at a time. Like 20 pots works about perfectly to have and empty pot or two ready to fill and have my tents full. Plus I have a couple other experiments in the mix too. That are hopefully end up bigger plants.

Day45 New
Took the girls out and shwazzed them again, 6 plants in a 2x2 and you really have to stay on top of airflow! Hit each pot with PotPoppers nematodes, just something i do every few months for preventative measures. They were all fed fox farm soil trio at 50% with botNicare silica blast greenleaf bud explosion and sea-K and snowstorm ultra. Everything at 50% rec doses. Ppm is 950 and ph is 6.4. Had to take alot more sucker branches after the last schwazze as well. These girls are flying! PM is finally starting to stack buds but the GDP almost has full colas lol. Also rearranged the plants again as the PM in the middle hit a stretch so now the taller GDP is in the middle and tall PM replaced it. The smaller GDP and PM are on the left now.
