New Grower Auto extreme. Dutch Passion

I've just measured it for you, 1.05m. I also LST'd the main stem so she could, conceivably, have been higher.

The issues I caused for myself were mainly not recognising the plants need, nor being even halfway disciplined and aware of nutrient strength.I missed some deficiencies also.I also did not realise the importance early of PHing water.
Temp in the closet also could have been controlled better.

You live, you learn, I'm better set to give these a go.

I still can't help experimenting though.

She looks taller.

Sounds like an eventful grow!

I learned stuff I thought I already knew on both my auto grows.

It's easy to get carried away.

I was hoping to get away without training them, but they've really kicked on past few days, so I'll see.

Hey up

Did a res change and upped the nutes to 3/4 max. I'll see how they go for a few days and then maybe up the pump timer to 15 min an hour (currently 15 minutes every 2 hours) I ended up last time with it on a 15 min turn around.

Check the growth in 4 days.

I turned the fans off and I could hear the bastards growing!

Looking great dude. Do you notice much difference with feeds every hour

Ta mate.

Not really. The main factor is humidity for me. I don't run my extract constantly at the moment, if the pumps are on too often im evaporating more solution as my temps swing up to 30c.

Once the canopy shades all wilma, I have the pump on for 15 min off for 15 min all the time the lights on. The root growth I had was Fucking insane! There was a 2" thick mat along both drainage channels and loads in the res tank.

Those clay pebbles drain pretty quick, so in theory will pull fresh air into the roots as it drains. The 15 min turn around seemed to cause no issues at all and the canopy cover thing may be nonsense, but my thinking is cut down on the unnecessary evaporation will help stop any ph swing (that only become an issue when the roots hit the reservoir and was easily controlled).

Even in late flower i only had mine set at 15mins ever 2 hours. Youve got me thinking now though, cheers for your insights mate

Little update.

Upped the pump timer to every hour, flicked the bloom switch to get the energy levels up and stuck the extract on with the light timer.

They're on the stretch.

The extra energy from the light will keep the temps up now the extract is running constantly. (I run the extract on a 15 min on off timer when the plants are young, this elevates the temps and because of the drip system , keeps the humidity up).
