Holy fuck! What an inappropriately powerful bastard this is!
Size comparison. ....
The reflector, on the right, is oblong, the mars 2 is square. They're the same-ish.
Thickness, mars 2 is the porker.
Weight on the mars 2 is massive due to the heat sinks.
You cant even see them in the reflector.
And now.....the juicy bit!
This photo,in no way, does justice to the mars 2.
It is insanely bright!
I have arc welded without goggles, I routinely watch the ignition of huge amounts of gas in dark combustion chambers. So believe me, when I say bright, it's bright.

So, whilst the light was down, I got a good look at the plants, one is really healthy, the 2 others are suffering, I've put the light back squarely over the healthy one, just to give the other 2 an easier time. If the healthy bitch reacts negatively, I'll back down the nutes.

Honestly mate, you can't! In reality you can't even see individual lights on the 2, let alone the colours like on the reflector.

I've gotta finish the new grow space before the light gets used in anger! So I can't really report on performance.
It's the 1600, it is very bright. The mars 2 has a higher lumen output than the reflectors, there's a comparison table a few posts back.
