Ive heard that PK boost is good to use once when you start flowering, once in the middle and then once again when the buds are *densening* up.

Hey up

I've got my nute issue under control.

I dropped the ec right down 1.1 microwidgets.

I'm driving them too hard so that was the compromise.

This is the damage..

They've drunk 35l since Sunday as a reaction to the light levels I should imagine, it's only on leaves that are in intense light.

They're currently this big.

Mars recommend 12 inches away from the light.

What do they know!

I'm gonna do a res change tomorrow and a rethink of nute dosing.

The bent one has continued to give it 2 fingers and was not affected by this, save a tiny bit of nute burn.

Thats 1 of the problems with the wilmas, balancing the ec/ppm to suit 3 or 4 plants.
Also 1 of the upsides when theyre happy with it!

I think it was more me trying too many changes at once.

Over 2 weeks I upped the nutes, added boosters and doubled the light.

The bent one is just a double hard bitch!

I know what you're saying , the blue amnesia from my last efforts was begging for some harsher treatment, the skunk was having none of it.

I'm only put short strains in this set up after this, I can see more issues ahead with this grow, although once the plants get closer than 10" the led seems to bother them less.

Y'know what... I've never tried hydro of any kind.

Y'know why? Cos its waaaaay too complicated! I know if you get it right it's amazing, but foookinell... Life in mud is so much easier!

Up the dirt...

Vlad.

Lol. It's not that complicated, I just naturally make things seem that way!

When (if) you get it dialed in, it's set and forget. I spent more time setting my loft ladder up than 'gardening' when I'm up there.

Dirt treats me like my wife, takes little bits off you and saves it up as poison to spite you with when you least expect it.

With hydro I fuck it up, I immediately see I've fucked it up, I can quickly try and unfuck it.

Haha! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Love the wife comparison! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Quality!

I've seen a lot of failed attempts at hydro tho... Whole crop killed [emoji879][emoji879][emoji51] halfway through the grow...

How did your first attempts go bud?

I used to run a drip to drain system in rockwool 15-20 years ago.

I used canna hard water nutes, mix up a bucket full, pour it into the drip tank (a bucket with a tank connecter fitted to the bottom), Id do that once or twice a week. No ph testing or nothing. It was that simple.

For me it makes sense (sensi!), I have an engineering background, so can see how this works much more logically than I can with dirt.

I've had a some minor outdoor success, I live just on the Kent boarders (the patio of england) so can normally find a quiet spot somewhere to plant one out.

I returned to growing last year and tried a soil grow, ballsed it up and only pulled about 7 oz off of 5 plants, so returned to hydro.
