Grow Mediums Attempting 2nd Grow for the 4th time :)

Hi jtrain, nice lookin job of lst and leaf tucking. Your plant is looking healthy and bushy, a bit on the short side but we will see what the next week brings. I'm hoping you will need a bigger ruler. It is normal for the roots to swallow up some of the bubbles so no concern over less bubbles with the roots in the res. How close are the lights to the plant?

I had originally had the light 18 inches away but she was too tightly noded so I raise it to 24 inches at the moment to see if I could get a little stretch out of her. I think Sunday which will be day 36 I'll drain the rez switch to bloom and drop the light back to 18. We will see

So this morning I checked on the plant it's been about 18 hours since I topped and filled. She has already drank a quarter gallon and Ph rose from 5.8 to 6.1 ppm may have dropped to 930.
When I get home if ppms drop more should i add a new gallon of nutes at a slightly higher strength. or just top off with plain ro

Day 30
PH 5.8
rez temp 73
temp 75
humidity 50
PPMs down to 900
She drank half a gallon in one day so i added a half a gallon of RO with 50% nutes. Took ppms up to 1100ppm here is how my week goes
Monday I topped with 50%
tuesday wont touch
Wed Top With straight RO
Thursday wont touch
Friday ill top up 50%
Saturday im gone
Sunday Dump Rez and refill with Transition/Bloom Nutes
I hope im doing well she grew 1.5 inches and i had to bend and twist more stuff over. I think ill just let her go. and see her grow.
I have a few leaves with yellow tips but i dont think its cause for concern shes drinking and eating so thats good right?

it's kind of hard to tell with the lighting but it looks like the start of a mag def to me and not nute burn. Kinds of looks like the signs are there on other parts of the leaf but again it's hard to tell. I've had so many mag problems using coco I feel like I can spot it a mile away haha.

Lookin good, I dunno about the yellow tips-I don't think it is too serious yet. Certainly could be a magnesium deficency, I don't have much experience with that problem. I would wait and see if it gets any worse. Your feed schedule for the week sounds real good to me, and I am very glad to hear of some vertical growth.

Epsom Salt literally saved my last auto DWC, a lot of folks don't realize that Epsom salt is nothing but pure magnesium, and for my experience I have found that a lot of times when people their plants have a CALmag problem it most of the time is a Mg problem by itself and Epsom salt works great! I hope you can get this small problem taken care of

Day 31
Ph 5.9
Temp 78
Rez temp 75
Humidity 50
Ppms up to 1050

She drank half a gallon today and ppms climbed 50 so I gave her half a gallon of ro water ppms dropped to 960 now. Tomorrow is a new day I am seeing new roots, one out of the net pot so that's good. I may pull out the humidifier as I don't yhink I need it anymore she is producing her own humidity. She went from 8inches to 9-9.5so she is still growing well. I will say these Flora nova nutes leave heavy dark residue but she's healthy and I read that happens so I'm not worried. Lower leaves still turning brown here and there but they are the oldest of the old

I'm wondering if I should do the bloom cycle with floranova bloom or if I should finish bloom with the little bit of Flora micro grow bloom I have
