Roots look healthy growth looks good to me....Sunday I'm upping the base nutes to 300 then I'll add diamond nectar and about 2ml of calimagic to the mix

I see a little but of purple or something on the leaves and the veins are lighter colored. Sunday I'm going to up base nutes from 220 to 300 for a total of 480ppm.
Any help or ideas about the coloring let me know

I looked at roots and they are healthy. Bottoms have a slight tan tinge to them I chalk up to nutes also saw some brown deposits. Was not rot more like unsettled nutes that either stuck to the walls of the bucket or floating around and had attached to some roots. Took a spray bottle and jetted them off. I have 2ml of hydroguard and temps in res have been about 70 so I'm not concerned. Otherwise to me she looks good

I hope someone is paying attention i saw about 4 tiny roots in my dwc bucket and the MAIN taproot has a yellowish brown tinge. Everything looks good i just want to make sure everything is ok Res smells great, and i have 2 air stones so that shouldnt be a problem. Is this normal should i be shedding some roots this early? Is this why you guys dump the res every week or two???

Hi jtrain, I believe you are correct that the brownish color is just nutrients, if it feels and smells fresh I would not worry. Your plant looks like it is about to start growing like mad! Keep up the good work.

So she looks healthy still third set of LeAves is coming through hoping she grows a little faster now I dropped the light from 24 inches to 19 now so I should based on research be in that sweet spot for an led we will see

Thank you I just got nervous since the last two failed. I hope she takes off soon. Just worried me when I cut off the air pumps and saw 3 4 small floating roots that had broken off didn't know if that was normal

I'm an idiot first I came home and noticed my air pump was disconnected when I checked ppms last morning so it's been a day without an air pump. Res looks ok and smells like plastic doesn't smell foul...I'm going to change the water this sunday anyway add a doubke dose of hydroguard just to be safe
Then I was checked ph and I dropped my cheap meter so of course it doesn't work. I ordered another 1 should be here Monday at the latest. I'll add 4 drops of doen which if I'm at 5.8 will take me to 5.5 if I'm 6.1 I'll be at 5.8 so either way I'll play it safe.
She looks healthy to me roots are more tan and if I rub them the tan stuff comes off. I still think it's nute staining. Also the roots are very fine

It all looks very good my friend. I have had my airline come off a few times also with no harm. The leaves got rather droopy one time but the plant recovered just fine.
At this stage of the plants life, I think they enjoy a good spray down with a foliar feed, when doing a water change I also spray down the roots.
