Disaster has struck the grow room of Dopey Jim.
The last two weeks I've had a terrible attack of gout (reoccurring) and have been hobbling around like an old man.
Consequently I found it very difficult to get to my shed and despite being bed ridden for only a couple of days my plants we're severly withered and burnt.
As you can imagine the photos are far too embaressing to put up!
However, every cloud has a silver lining and I only lost one plant which also happened to be the weakest growing, so it could have been a lot worse.
The others have shown remarkable resilience and with careful watering and feeding have bounced back.
When they have recovered better I will post up some new photos.

If any of you guys have had gout and can reccomend a variety I would appreciate that. I've got auto assassin at the moment and it is definately not a pain reliever!

Damn sorry to hear Jim. Hope you feel better bro! :smokebuds:

Hey jim, my brother suffers from gout, and he swears by cherries....might be worth a try.

much love n healing karma sent mate!

also... somewhere on here someone posted a video yesteday about juicing canna... might be something to look into for your health issues.. :smokeit:

The juicing canna article was very interesting except it seems you need industrial amounts to feel the benefit!
Having said that I virtually live on smoothies so slinging a few leaves in certainly isn't going to do any harm, thanks JM.

Went to check on the girls this morning only to be greeted by the most beautiful smell, my HBDs are sugaring up nicely and making their presence known. I wish I could describe the smell, it is intoxicatingly intense, bubblegummy, sweet and oh so full of promise, I stuck my face right in the top cola and inhaled deeply, it brought a huge smile to my face and I swear I've been catching little whiffs of it wherever I go

Despite having lost my Gnomo, the Royal AK (both from Herbies) is now putting on a massive spurt and I'm really interested to see how it turns out, it is a very healthy looking plant and seems to have got over the lack of water well.

All three AAs are starting to sugar. Interesting thing about those is I started growing them in the greenhouse propagator (I'd run out of room in the grow room and had planted 10 regulars that needed to be sexed) in the middle of february and because the light levels were so low they barely moved until I put them in under lights and now they've made small, quite uniform plants with a nice cola each.

The Dragons have sexed up and out of 5 seeds sown and 4 that germed I've got 2 females so I'm happy with that, thought I'd got 3 but when I checked this morning there he was proud as Billy big Bollocks showing his nads to the ladies, so he was despatched.

Last but not least is my constant war with Dr. Feelgood to try and get a female from regular seed. I don't know where I'm going wrong but I've now sown 10 and at last got a female. All though this ratio is very discouraging the female that I have got is a real beauty very strong little stem and good height.

I've kept the strongest and earliest of the male dragons and feelgood to collect pollen but have moved those into the greenhouse due to lack of room and to prevent uncontrolled sexy shenanigans with my harem of virgins.

I'll post up more pics tomorrow as I have 2, yes 2, child free hours and I feel that the plants have recovered enough to show again without too much embaressment.

Peas

Jim
