New Grower Archiweedies III

In your space you should be able to find a dehumidifier that would work pretty well for you.

I can't see why that deep blue c would stop growing. It looks real healthy and in my experience photoperiod Strains just keep right on growing as long as it's in veg. When I was doing photos I liked pot up to about a 5-gallon pot about 2 weeks before I was ready to flip, then I would pretty much use up all the nutrients in the soil by late flower and that's when I'd hit it with my Bloom nutrients. I used to take clones in flower if I wanted to sometimes it be a little bit slow rooting but you know you can do that too.

Hey Jingo thanks for the reply. Should I just get a little tiny dehumidifier for the tent? Sorry I guess I just don't know how to manipulate my grow spaces environment very well.

My grow tent is basically mimicking my bedroom environment. Is that normal? I assume it is, but then it is up to me to alter either the room or the tent right? The only thing I e learned is that by using my extraction fan I can make it cooler in the room. I've played with the flaps at the bottom but I think the smell is getting out there some, plus I couldn't leave that open if I was doing 12/12 right?
The part about the clones I don't understand. I have a very basic understanding of clones and I have taken clones successfully once before. I do have some rooting gel and a propagation dome and stuff.

Usually your tent will run warmer than the room it's in. Although, that got me to thinking you could get a big dehumidifier for your bedroom and try and bring the humidity of your bedroom down and see how that would do inside the tent. That's really kind of what I do I have a solid flower room that I grow in but I also have a large workroom that I use as my "lung" room. Slater does something similar and his Loft by using a cardboard box before the intake on his tent and then he controls the temperature of the air inside the cardboard box as an added way of controlling the environment.

Are you exhausting out of your tent into another space besides your bedroom? It's best if you can draw air from one space and exhaust into another. So I exhaust up to my attic and then I allow my intake for my lung room to just infiltrate through the cracks and stuff in the wall. That makes my work room and my flower room all under a state of negative pressure.

All I was talking about with the Clones, is that you can take clones at any time in the plant's life I used to actually take them late in flower with buds on them sometimes.

If you don't have an extra space in order to flower that one photoperiod strain I probably wouldn't bother with it at all. Once you flip 12 12 if you interrupt the light cycle too much you can have some Hermies.

Alright, I think we're onto something. I am exhausting right back into the room that I am growing in. It's about a 200sqft room with vaulted ceilings. Grow tent is shoved in a corner. My wife has commented how it feels more humid than the rest of the house now that the plants are there. I also leave the bedroom door closed almost all day and night. I do have windows in the same corner of the room that the tent is in but I wasn't prepared to start venting outside. Is this my problem maybe?
I got to thinking along the same lines already and rearranged the tent a little to make sure airflow is absolutely optimal inside. Everything is great in the tent, humidity is just wicked high. Almost 70%today.
I'm starting to think you might be right about this DBC and switching to 12/12. Might have to give her to a good buddy of mine.

HBSS is packing on weight and frost pretty nice. Should be starting to flush in the next couple weeks.

Day 60 Update

Wow day 60 already. I started the flush on HBSS already prior to this update, but I started the flush on the rest of the gals today. And here they are:

HBSS Day 66 - She’s in for a long flush cycle. The main colas matured early and the lower buds stretched a lot later than Im used too. This is a lower bud. The upper ones have a few ambers and a few clears.

Tyrone B - some clears

Northern Cheese Haze - some clears, but she’s in soil so longer flush cycle. I noticed some late pistils being thrown on tops of some of the buds.
