New Grower Archiweedies III

Simple session of LST today took a couple leaves off a few plants to open up bud sites.
HBSS lifted her skirt and so did Tyrone A. Attention whores lol.
I'm stunned at the growth after moving my grow into a stable environment.

Just realized NCH and HBSS are swapped. HBSS is at the top.

Have a good weekend and be safe kids!

Oh I was just sitting here thinking about something you mentioned earlier @jingo I could use some assistance dialing in my light distances. I've always just googled what people set their lights at.
How do I do it properly. Keep in mind, some of my plants are still exhibiting heat stress on the older growth.

When I was running my Mars 700 I used to keep them 24 to 30 inches above the plants in veg. Then I would drop down to about 18 inches in flower. Just have to kind of play it by ear.

Yea I guess I've never found that sweet spot where they start praying to the light. I'll keep searching for it [emoji3]

It's a little hard to hit, your environment plays a big role and your feeding matters allot too. It's not bad if you don't get it, it's just one tiny piece in growing big plants.

Right on man. Well, environment is dialed in pretty well. I'd love to get my humidity higher than 45% while in veg. Sadly, I wasn't able to raise the RH much with my little tiny humidifier.

I tried several experiments to get the RH to climb. Everything short of turning off my exhaust fan completely.

I actually let my exhaust fan cycle off during hot dry spells to help control my humidity. I have a Titan controller it allows for a high idle a low idle and a completely off setting, still based on my temp settings.

Because of where the tent is in my house I get sun pounding right over the roof where the tent is. Turning exhaust fan off during the day isn't an option, but I'll give it a try tonight. The tent is all new to me. How do I best utilize the screen flaps at the bottom that I assume are passive intakes?

If your exhaust fan is able to suck in the sides of your tent then you can open up as many bottom flaps as you want to to allow in fresh air. Some guys if they have some real heat issues will use a powered intake. Course that would give you even more difficulty staying with your humidity goals.
