last night's blizzard brings the drifts closerView attachment 695337 View attachment 695338

It always amazes me to see that knowing they are in their habitat. I have this good neighbor who leaves his pit chained in his partially fenced yard while at work all day. Another neighbor not even next to him has it in his head that it is abuse even though the dog is cool and happy and unchained when hes home. The guy even called animal rescue on him. They suggested he mind his own business.. I just have to print yours and show them to the grasser just to wind him up.. He will go stark raving bananas thinking those dogs are in misery.

I had my peek in the tent, I am a proud dad. Both little girls have grown well today. I love growth spurts.

these are happy dogs, out and about almost daily, woods, tundra , river. In winter they eat fish that was fermented and frozen in fall. Fat, thick furred and happy. even at -50, no complaints. My dogs are more or less supervised on our walks, I never let them just run and roam, always call them back. They are like the barbarian horde, searching and destroying.

Oh hey... @trailanimal @Jraven @arcticjake
Please list the Auto strains you find best for growing in the cold climate..
My best performers (mainly by weight) from the last few seasons:
DP Automazar
DP AutoDurban Poison
Sweet Black Sugar Rose
DP AutoUltimate
Pakistani Ryder
DP Blueberry

All started indoors but grown outdoors with cool nights just below the arctic circle.

Like i said, amazing, And they come back every time. If they weren't happy they'd split as soon as you unchained them.

Dogs that won't hook on get culled, not politically correct but necessary in camp. We aren't mushing now but still need to function as a team.
