Awesome!
Go easy on it as it has a bit more of a kick to it than Ketchup but it does make a fine bacon butty.
The HP Fruity is a little milder and also works well in a nice cheddar sandwich.

Speaking of bacon, my wife made some bacon jam which seems to be good on everything.

I've never tasted any but they do sell it at the local supermarket.
However home made bacon jam is bound to have a much better flavor than store bought!

When it comes to rashers of bacon it has to be dry cured oak smoked streaky (belly) rashers slice fine and crisped under the grill (broiler).
I used to like molasses and maple syrup cures but I'm not allowed to eat them any more coz of the sugar in them.

We also have what we call back bacon which is the loin and a little streaky on it.

When I was a kid we also had what was called Green bacon, which was lightly cured and came as the back and streaky all in one piece.

I'm missing out on a lot of delicious bacon that I never knew existed!

no recipe, it's something I grew up with, mom made it, never even had in adult life, recipe would be nice
I used this one: http://kitchensanctuary.com/2015/12/slow-cooked-hungarian-beef-goulash/ and served with mash

Gotta say I prefer our version to the hungarian kettle one. Everything goes down better with dumplings and beer!
That looks good man, and I've only just eaten!

I am trying to decide between cookies and soft granola bars. This recipe looks good to me.

I'll have to give that a try some time...

HP stands for Houses of Parliament Sauce. As you can see the Houses of Parliament are on the bottle.

It was the best-selling brand of brown sauce in the UK in 2005, with 73.8% of the retail market. HP Sauce has a malt vinegar base, blended with tomato, dates, tamarind extract, and spices. It usually is used as a condiment with hot or cold savoury food, or as an ingredient in soups or stews.

It's made in the EU though!!!

I've always called that Middle. Green, to me, was pretty much uncured. I miss proper bacon dammit! We can get something resembling streaky but I don't have a grill/broiler so I have to fry it. It goes from not cooked to over crispy in about half a second.

Goulash anyone? Served with mashed potatoes and sour cream.
